PURSUIT TAKES 3 FELONS OFF THE STREET

On October 30, 2015 a Pct. 5 Constables patrol unit observed a green jeep traveling down Butera road driven by James Randall Benson, 36 a wanted felon from the Magnolia area. When the deputy tried to stop the vehicle the driver started to evade using the jeep to get away. Benson ran into the woods in that area and with help from the public, several Pct. 5 units were able to locate him at a residence on Antelope Lane. When units arrived on the scene there were several people on location. James Randall Benson was found hiding in a closet in the back of the residence. While on location it was revealed that Robert James Hagerman 39 had felony warrants and the Blair Alynn Pleau was in possession of a controlled substance that tested to be methamphetamine. All three were arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. Constable David Hill’s office would like to thank the public with their assistance in this matter and would like to encourage residents in the Magnolia area to contact the Pct. 5 Constables Department with any concerns in the future.
