RAIN, RAIN WON’T GO AWAY

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous today with a few storms possibly becoming strong to severe.

Forecast Changes
The Storm Prediction Center has shifted the Marginal Risk for severe storms further east this morning, still covering portions of Polk, San Jacinto, Liberty, and Chambers counties. The greatest risk for hail will be east of SE TX.

Overview
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible again today as a warm front develops and shifts north across the region. The primary severe weather hazard will be hail. Storms could develop at almost any time but it appears that the best chance for storms will be this afternoon and into the evening hours.

No Flash Flooding is Expected.
