RESTAURANT MANAGER ROBBED AND TIED UP IN SMC

On Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at approximately 1:00 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to a robbery that had occurred at a business, Raising Canes, in the 520 block of Rayford Road, in Spring, Texas.

Upon Deputies arrival, it was reported by the restaurant manager that she was exiting the rear of the restaurant after closing up. Reportedly a male wearing all black clothing including a mask, hoodie, and gloves approached her brandishing a handgun. The manager attempted to retreat back inside the restaurant, but could not close the door before the male forced his way inside. Reportedly the male threatened the manager, ordered her into the restaurants office, and then ordered her to open the safe. The suspect then directed the manager to fill a bag with the contents of the safe. The manager complied with the suspects demands. The suspect then utilized zip ties to secure the mangers hands behind her back before leaving the location with an undisclosed amount of money.

Description of the suspect is a male of average height, wearing black long pants, a black hoodie, a black mask, black shoes, aviator glasses, and a black hat.
