Retired Texas Ranger Selected For MCSO Patrol Captain

With the retirement of Captain Kenneth Ariola from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office this week came several more movements within the Sheriff’ s Office.
Captain Henderson who has been with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office since 1994 is now being tasked with Captain Ariola’s position as Jail Administrator.  Henderson started his career with the Sheriff’s Office in 1994 after graduating from the Texas Peace Officer Academic Licensing Academy at Sam Houston State University.
After starting as a deputy in The Woodlands he moved through the ranks and assumed the position of Patrol Captain in 2009.
Henderson is also a graduate of the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Taking Captain  Rand Henderson’s position as Patrol Captain will be a man many have seen on crime scenes since 1986.
Texas Ranger Lt. Kevin Pullen retired from DPS effective Tuesday at noon.
Effective Wednesday morning at 12:01 a.m. he became Captain Kevin Pullen with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Pullen joined the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in 1986 as a patrol deputy. In 1988 he went to work the the Texas Department of Public Safety and quickly moved through the ranks, soon becoming a Texas Ranger.
Pullen is a very respected lawman not just in Montgomery County but across the State of Texas.
