A man was put on life support in critical condition after being shot during a road rage incident Saturday morning, according to Houston Police. The driver and passenger of a gray car were both shots on West Lake Houston Parkway and North Park Drive, in Kingwood. The driver suffered superficial wounds, while his passenger was shot multiple times. Police said the men in the car and men in a truck were arguing over the way another vehicle was driving. Someone inside the truck opened fire on the men in the car. The driver drove the car to Kingwood Medical Center where both men received medical attention. Later, someone found a gray pickup truck abandoned on the railroad tracks near FM 1485 and Loop 494. The vehicle had just been removed when the attempt to locate was issued for the truck. HPD Homicide Detectives said this may be the truck involved. That truck had been reported stolen, the VIN number and license plates were missing. Harris County Office of Forensic Science responded to New Caney to process the truck for prints or DNA. The victims in the road rage shooting are in their 20s. There’s no good description yet of the shooters.
