On October 28, 2011, at approximately 3:00 AM, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office met with Harris County Pct 4 Constable deputies who were investigating a robbery and kidnapping of a Montgomery County man.
Deputies learned the 45 year old victim was leaving an apartment complex with another man when a suspect got into the backseat of the car and threatened and struck the victim with a handgun. The suspect and other man drove the victim to the FM 1960 area in Harris County where both men took the victim’s clothing leaving the victim stranded and uninjured.
Deputies went to the Grogan’s Landing Apartments on Sawmill Drive were the victim was taken from and went the apartment described by the victim. At the apartment one suspect (Weeks) was detained when he opened the door of the apartment and the second suspect (Perez) was arrested as he climbed out of a bedroom window and ran.
Major crime investigators believe that the incident was the result of a money dispute and both suspects were charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
