An unknown female had entered the business around 11:30am and confronted a store employee. The female purported to have a gun during the theft and caused minor injuries to the employee. The female fled the business in an unknown direction.
Cleveland Police Officers arrived shortly after the robbery and secured the crime scene. Once details were gathered and the crime scene was secured, Detectives with the Cleveland Police Department arrived to begin their investigation.
Detectives collected evidence and began conducting interviews. Several interviews led the Detectives to the Houston area. After conducting an intensive investigation, Detectives were able to secure enough evidence to establish probable cause for the arrest of the female robber who they were able to positively identify through their investigative efforts.
Sera Toynael Hudson (age 38) of Houston, Texas has now been arrested and is charged with a 1st Degree Felony “Robbery” which carries a sentence of 5 years to 99 years in prison if convicted. Sera Hudson is currently being held at the Cleveland Police Department Jail on a 25,000.00 bond.
