run in spring in memory of staff sgt. eric trueblood

On March 10, 2011, a resident of Conroe and graduate of Caney Creek High School, Andy Parr was injured on a mission when an IED detonated. The IED killed Commander Staff Sgt. Eric Trueblood of Alemeda, California while conducting a post-blast analysis. Trueblood will be remembered on April 9th in Houston’s Run for Fallen Soldiers. The organization was founded in 2009 in honor of those killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. A team will be participating for the 720th EOD company in memory of Commander Staff Sgt. Trueblood. The run will be held at the Spring High School track at 9 a.m. and more details can be found at HoustonRunFortheFallen.net.
