Safe Stolen from SMC Business Leads MCSO to Greenspoint Area

On Tuesday, around 3:50 a.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Boost Mobile at 1511 Rayford Rd. in South Montgomery County, in reference to a burglary. A citizen called 911, saying he was following a white Ford F250 with a safe in the back of the truck. The caller said the pickup, with three occupants, left Boost Mobile, where there was an audible alarm. Deputies found the vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the suspects refused to pull over, fleeing and starting a pursuit.  The deputies followed the pickup into Harris County, to Forest Edge Dr. in the Greenspoint area, where one of the suspects bailed out of the vehicle, fleeing on foot.

With assisting agencies involved, some units pursued the suspect who fled on foot, while the others continued to follow the pickup which entered an apartment complex at 1000 Greens Road. A closed gate stopped the suspects from going any further, and they were captured.

The Boost Mobile safe was recovered from the vehicle, along with masks and other items described as “burglary tools. Deputies also learned the Ford F250 the suspects were driving had been reported stole from Houston.

All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail, charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Burglary.

Those arrested were identified as 40-year-old Calvin Green, 29-year-old Shadrick Jones, and 37-year-old Albert Clifton.

More black thugs from Houston, this time from the ghetto of Gunspoint, each with lengthy criminal records in Harris County, perceiving that Montgomery County law enforcement to soft, coming up I-45 to prey on the citizens and businesses of The Woodlands.

If it weren’t for the citizen who observed the robbery/heard the alarm, and then followed the criminals, they would have probably gotten away with it.
