All through the night Sunday deputies and troopers searched the area around the Montgomery County Jail Still empty handed at daylight additional deputies and troopers were added.
Most of Monday DPS helicopters circled the area. All tips were acted on immediately from West Davis and Westview to SH 105 near FM 3083 and everything in between,
TDCJ brought Blood Hounds in for the search. SWAT searched almost every vacant home in Conroe. Some schools reported lockdowns as a precaution. CISD Officers stepped up patrols around schools in the area.
Late this afternoon Sheriff Gage remained in the field on the search. He worked with deputies until close to 1 a.m. Monday and then returned to continue the search.
Overnight and early today several reports came in of possible sightings and police responded to each.
Anyone spotting this individual should call 911 immediately.
The perimeter that was set up since yesterday is expected to be reduced somewhat in that officers can be assigned to follow up on any leads that come in.
