SERVICES HELD TODAY FOR CHILD KILLED IN PURSUIT CRASH ON FATHERS DAY

Adan Hilario, Jr., would have turned 12 in August, but he was killed on Father’s Day when his family’s SUV collided with a patrol vehicle in pursuit of a suspected drunk driver. Adan was enjoying the summer, and looking forward to starting seventh grade at Splendora Jr. High, where he was finally going to be old enough to play football. A family member said Adan loved to play football and soccer and would spend the entire day riding bikes with his friends, especially his best friend, Eduardo. The family member said Adan and Eduardo planned to join the SJHS football team together, and because Adan was a natural protector and larger than his thin best friend, who he had said he planned to protect on the field. The suspect the officer was chasing has been charged with the death of Adan and the officer. Adan’s entire family was hospitalized after the crash. They are now s;lowly recovering but the loss of Adan makes it that much more difficult.

Last weekend over 1000 balloons were released at a Memorial Service for Adan at Splendora Junior High School.

Tuesday afternoon a priovate funeral mass was held for Adan at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on North Frazier in Conroe. After the service officers from Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constables Office, Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables Office, Roman Forest Police, Patton Village Police and Conroe Police esorted the procession of over 100 friends and family to Adan’s final restuing place at Memory Gardens on FM 3083 at I-45.

The family requested a private graveside ceremony.
