District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)
On January 31, Deputy S. Degner was dispatched to the 3800 block of Highland Oaks W for a theft of an ATV. A male complainant advised he was driving home and saw a truck with an ATV in the back that looked like his. He arrived home and discovered his ATV had indeed been stolen. The truck was located at the intersection of Loop 336 and Butler Road. The female occupants said they had paid an unknown male $70 for the ATV and did not get a bill of sale or title. They told the Deputy they knew the ATV was worth more than that. The complainant arrived with his title and advised the ATV was worth a $1,000. The two females (sisters), ages 22 and 19, from Conroe were arrested and charged with theft (auto) (possession of stolen property) and taken to jail.
A 43 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:40pm, January 31, on Holly Glen Drive by Deputy A. Booher for an assault family violence warrant, a DWI 2nd warrant, and a violation of a protective order all out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was on a welfare concern call. The male was transported to jail.
On February 1, Sgt. J. Varnell stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Cude Cemetery and W FM 1097. The Deputy made contact with the male driver and after an investigation it was found the male was in possession of marijuana. The 25 year old male from Willis was arrested at 12:40am and transported to jail.
On February 1, Deputy C. Santoro stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 10500 block of FM 1484. The Deputy discovered the male driver was operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The 45 year old male from Conroe was arrested and charged with driving with license invalid and taken to jail.
On February 2, Deputy S. Squier stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Longstreet and W FM 1097. The vehicle was traveling without headlights on. The Deputy found the male driver to be intoxicated. The vehicle had also been involved in a reported accident striking a guard railing causing damage. The 24 year old male from Montgomery was arrested at 3:22am. He was charged with DWI and the failure to stop and give information on striking a fixed object on highway and taken to jail.
On February 2, Deputy J. Reuvers was sent to the area of Willis Waukegan Road and FM 1484 in reference to a reckless driver. The Deputy met with the reportee who advised the male had driven his vehicle into a ditch in the 5700 block of Serenity Woods Drive and that the male was intoxicated and on foot walking on Ferrell Road. The reportee followed the Deputy and located the male. The reportee positively identified the male as the driver of the vehicle. The male fled from the Deputy and was apprehended on Serenity Woods Drive. The 32 year old male from Willis was arrested at 6:57pm, charged with evading arrest, DWI and driving with license invalid and taken to jail.
A 28 year old female from Willis was arrested at 5:30pm, February 5, in the 13200 block of Bluff View Drive by Sgt. E. Ward for a motion to revoke probation warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The female was taken to jail.
On February 5, Deputy K. Albritton was notified of a family violence assault on Brook Oaks Court. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised his brother had pushed him, slapped him and choked him. The 39 year old male from Willis was arrested and transported to jail.
On February 5, Deputy J. Kader stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 15100 block of Wiggins Road. As the Deputy approached a strong odor of marijuana emitted from the vehicle. All three male occupants were asked to exit the vehicle. As the investigation continued one of the male occupants was found to be in possession of marijuana. The 19 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:24pm and taken to jail.
On February 5, Deputy J. Hodges was dispatched to Willis Waukegan Road in reference to a family violence assault. As the Deputy was in route to the location a report through communications was shots had been fired at the residence. On arrival the Deputy met with a female complainant and three other persons. A female suspect then walked out carrying a handgun and she was told to put the weapon down. As the investigation continued the female suspect and complainant (suspect’s sister-in-law) had been involved in a physical disturbance with the complainant being pushed and hit by the suspect. The female suspect produced a handgun and fired at the complainant through a window grazing the complainant’s leg.
The 27 year old female from Conroe was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Additionally, after checking on the firearm it was discovered it had been reported stolen. The female was also charged with possession of a stolen firearm. She was transported to jail.
On February 5, Deputy K. Underwood stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of FM 1485 and Short Street. During the investigation it was found that the male driver was operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The 27 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:22pm, charged with driving with license invalid and taken to jail.
On February 6, Deputy C. Santoro observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of Highline Blvd near Crockett Martin Road. A male was found to be asleep in the vehicle and upon awakening was found to be intoxicated. The 66 year old male from New Waverly was arrested at 4:58am, charged with public intoxication and transported to jail.
District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)
On January 30, 2011, Deputy Everton arrested a 21-year-old male from The Woodlands and an 18-year-old male from Houston after a traffic stop in the 26000 block of the IH-45 feeder road. During the course of the investigation, 13 grams of marijuana was found in the vehicle. Both the driver and the passenger were taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana, and were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On February 1, 2011, Deputy Pierman arrested a 56-year-old male from Conroe for Theft at 6119 FM 1488. The suspect attempted to take $269.88 worth of merchandise from the Home Depot. Due to the suspect having two or more prior convictions for Theft, the charges were upgraded to State Jail Felony from Class B Misdemeanor. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 2, 2011, Deputy Roberts was dispatched to 25010 IH-45 in reference to a Warrant Service. Upon arrival, he met with a Harris County Deputy that had the suspect, 18-year-old male from Spring, in custody. Deputy Roberts confirmed the suspect had a valid warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail where he was booked in without incident.
On February 3, 2011, Sergeant Russell observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the 14000 block of Horse Shoe Bend. The driver of the vehicle stated he was waiting on a friend, but did not have an explanation as to why he parked in the wooded area instead of the friend’s driveway. During the course of the investigation, 3.5 grams of marijuana were found in the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect, 21-year-old male from Houston, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 3, 2011, Sergeant Russell arrested 22-year-old male from New Waverly after a traffic stop on IH-45. The suspect was found to have no valid insurance, no driver’s license, and two suspensions on his ID Card. Sergeant Russell arrested the driver for Driving with License Invalid. The suspect was taken to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On February 5, 2011, Deputy Zavorski arrested a 39-year-old male from Spring after responding to a residence on Rayford Road. The suspect was inside the home yelling at the children. The suspect had an active Protective Order filed against him, prohibiting him from being at the location. Deputy Zavorski arrested him for Violation of a Protective Order. The suspect was taken to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On February 6, 2011, Deputy Swank responded to an attempted theft in the 300 block of Sawdust Road. While en route, a second call came in regarding the same suspect at the What-a-Burger causing a disturbance. Deputy Swank made contact with the suspect, 35-year-old male from The Woodlands, and found that he had red glassy eyes, slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. The suspect stated he had taken some prescription medication earlier. Due to his level of intoxication, he was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On February 01, 2011 at 1336 hours Deputy Amstutz located a Hispanic Male in the 18600 block of Live Oak Drive Conroe who had a warrant out pf Potter County for non-payment of child support.
Deputy Dunn observed a vehicle parked at a business in the 22700 block of Community Drive New Caney. Upon speaking with the individual and obtaining consent to search his vehicle Deputy Dunn located 20 packets of Marijuana weighing 4.2 ounces. The person was arrested for felony possession of marijuana.
Deputy Harmon went to the 27400 block of Burning Tree New Caney and arrested a white male for a Theft of Copper warrant.
Deputy Logan arrested a white male and female in the 23400 block of US Highway 59 for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and a prohibited weapon after investigating a disturbance in progress.
Deputy White made a traffic stop in the 15500 block of Firetower Road and upon checking a Hispanic Male’s driver’s license it was found to be suspended and the male was arrested for driving while license invalid.
Deputy White arrested a white male in the 23800 block of FM 1485 for outstanding warrants and fail to identify. Upon booking the male into the East County Jail he was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a dangerous durg.
Deputy Ortiz conducted a traffic stop in the 21100 block of Highway 59 and arrested a white female for 3 forgery warrants.
On February 08, 2011 a white male was arrested in the 23500 block of Highway 59 for felony driving while intoxicated by Deputy Amstutz.
District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)
On February 5th while patrolling the area of Turtle Creek Lane, Deputy Overbay observed a red passenger car fail to stop at a stop sign. Deputy Overbay conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the 35 year old female driver. The driver’s license was currently suspended due to surcharge of installment agreement. The subject also currently had no motor vehicle insurance. The female subject was placed into custody and charged with DWLI and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
On February 3rd Sergeant Sumrall was dispatched to Spruce Lane in reference to a Family Disturbance call. Upon arrival the Sergeant met with the Complainant who advised her 25 year old son had begun throwing things on the floor and had picked up a plastic tea picture that had tea in it and threw it at her striking her in the head. The son was issued a citation for Assault Family Violence (By Contact).
On February 2nd Deputy Suarez was dispatched to Foxwood Drive in reference to a Disturbance Call. Upon arrival the Deputy met with the Complainant and suspect. The Complainant advised that he suspect had asked her to drive him to the store to purchase beer and she had told him no because of the weather. The Complainant further advised at this time the suspect threatened to hit her with a baseball bat if she didn’t take him. The suspect did not display the bat, but frightened her enough to call the police. The suspect a 70 year old male was issued a Citation for Assault by Threat.
On February 1st Deputy Suarez was dispatched to Terri Lane in reference to a Disturbance Call. Upon arrival the Deputy made contact with the Complainant and suspect a 41 year old female. It was discovered through the Deputy’s investigation that the female had started the disturbance that quickly became physical with the female subject striking the male in the face with a boot. The fight continued into the kitchen where the female subject grabbed an unopened beer bottle and threatened the Complainant with it. The female was determined to be the aggressor in the assault and was placed under arrest for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 1st Sergeant Sumrall was dispatched to a residence on Pinion Creek Road in reference to a Welfare Check. Upon arrival the Sergeant met with the 28 year old male subject who invited the Sergeant into his home. As the Sergeant was talking to the subject he observed clear plastic baggy containing Marijuana sitting on the coffee table in the living room. The subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On January 31st Deputy Crandell was dispatched to the 25000 Block of Hardin Store Road in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival Deputy Crandell met with the Complainant who advised she had arrived home and found a white male driving a black truck on her property. When the male observed her he jumped into his truck and left, but not before the Complainant was able to obtain his License Plate number. The Complainant checked her building and observed several pieces of Copper missing. Deputy Crandell was able to locate the truck and All Star Recycling was able to verify the subject had just been there and scrapped a small amount of copper. The subject a 22 year old male was placed into custody for Theft of Copper at which time a small amount of Marijuana was located on his person. Possession of Marijuana was added to his arrest record. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On January 28th Deputy Crandell observed a disturbance at the intersection of FM 1488 and FM 149 involving a male standing outside of his vehicle yelling at the driver of a Chrysler. As the Deputy pulled up the Chrysler sped off. The male subject advised that the Chrysler had run him off the road. While trying to catch up with the vehicle the Deputy was advised by Dispatch that a detective in an unmarked car had also been run off the road by the Chrysler. The Detective advised that the Chrysler had been passing in a no passing zone on a bridge and running other cars off the roadway. Montgomery PD was able to stop the Chrysler and the male subject driving was detained and charged with Reckless Driving. The 44 year old male subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)
February 2nd Deputy Howze responded to a construction site in the 800 block of Fish Creek Thoroughfare in regards to Theft. The Complainant reported that numerous mechanical parts and accessories had been stolen from his construction equipment during the night. The value of items taken was estimated to be in excess of $4,000. Deputies processed the scene for evidence and recovered several items which will be submitted to the Crime Lab for examination. This case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
February 3rd Deputy Rex responded to the 2900 block of LaSalle Ave. on a report of two Suspicious Persons. Upon arrival deputies located two male subjects and determined that they had been trespassing on an adjacent tract of wooded property. Further investigation revealed that both males were in possession of a controlled substance. An inventory of their vehicle resulted in the discovery of stolen property taken in a Burglary earlier in the day from another area of the County. Although the investigation and additional charges are pending, both subjects were arrested at this time for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Felony 3, and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
February 5th Deputy Favorat responded to the April Sound Country Club located at 1000 April Sound Blvd. in regards to a Trespasser in Progress. Upon arrival deputies met with April Sound Security which had a male subject detained. It was learned that the subject, a former employee, had previously been advised by management he was not allowed on property. Upon consulting the District Attorney’s Office, the subject was arrested for Criminal Trespass, Class B Misdemeanor and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
February 5th Deputy Garner responded to an establishment in the 18100 block of SH 105 W. in regards to a Verbal Disturbance between several patrons. It was determined that a male subject on location was intoxicated and responsible for the altercation. This subject was arrested for Public Intoxication, Class C Misdemeanor, and placed into the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)
On January 29, 2011, Deputy Wroten was dispatched to an intoxicated driver on Branch Crossing at Cranebrook. The vehicle was observed swerving into on-coming traffic and running over curbs. Once Deputy Wroten was able to get the vehicle stopped, she observed the driver to have a dazed look, as if he could not see her. With assistance from Deputy Cranston, they broke the window and were able to remove the driver from the van. The driver was observed to have slow slurred speech, was unable to stand without assistance, and was shaking. The suspect, 37-year-old male from The Woodlands, was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated – 3rd or more, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 29, 2011, Deputy Martin arrested a 20-year-old male from Spring after a traffic stop on Glen Loch Drive. The suspect was the driver in a vehicle being towed by another vehicle. The suspect was found to be in possession of .26 ounces of marijuana and was taken into custody charged with Possession of Marijuana. The driver of the first truck received a warning for the traffic stop for expired registration.
On January 30, 2011, Deputy Conklin arrested a 31-year-old male from The Woodlands for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest. The suspect was seen throwing an object off the third floor patio at 20 Waterway Avenue. When Deputy Conklin and other Deputies arrived on scene to speak with the suspect, he became combative with officers. During the initial investigation, a friend of the suspect approached the deputies in an aggressive manner and refused to stay back. The friend, 29-year-old male from Spring, was also taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Interference with Investigation/Duties of a Public Servant. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
On January 31, 2011, Deputy Frantz arrested 50-year-old female from The Woodlands for Intoxicated Assault. The suspect had been involved in a traffic accident at New Trails and Lake Woodlands. The suspect was taken into custody after Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
On February 2, 2011, Deputy Cranston arrested a 45-year-old male from Spring after a traffic stop on Flintridge Drive. The suspect was found to be driving with a suspended license. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with Driving While License Invalid, and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 5, 2011, Deputy Conklin arrested 26-year-old male from Montgomery for Public Intoxication at 21 Water Way Ave.
On February 6, 2011, Deputy Conklin arrested 28-year-old male from Houston, for Public Intoxication on Water Way Ave. The suspect was argumentative and very intoxicated when deputies arrived after being called to the location for a disturbance.
On February 7, 2010, Deputy Borchardt arrested a 29-year-old female from Spring after a traffic stop at Grogan’s Mill and Woodlands Parkway. The driver indicated that her license was suspended as she gave Deputy Borchardt her identification card. The driver was arrested for Driving While License Suspended/Invalid.
The following Shoplifting Arrests were reported:
1/30 – Deputy Wilkerson arrested a 45-year-old male from Spring for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $52.77 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
2/5 – Deputy Weatherford arrested a 16-year-old female from Spring for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect attempted to take $102.96 worth of merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility in Conroe.
