About 8pm Sunday a black male was walking north on Johnson Street near Tamina in the Tamina Comuunity. He was about halfway down the street when he heard shots behind him and started running. The male lives in the immediate area. He ran through some high grass and onto the railroad tracks where he fell. He then called his brother and stated he had been shot. He was transported to Memorial Herman where he is currently In surgery. Montgomery County Detectives located at least shot gun cartridges and believe it was slugs that were being shot. Units remain on the scene with the train traffic halted as the investigation continues.
