You may have heard about Souper Bowl of Caring in your local grocery store or on TV or radio, and the big kick-off this WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18, at NRG Stadium!
The attached press release is the breakdown of how residents can get involved in donating, volunteering and more before Super Bowl Sunday to help feed the 85,000 food insecure residents of Montgomery County.
There are four impactful ways to join the team and “tackle hunger” with Souper Bowl of Caring 2017:
- SHOP: Visit local participating grocery retailers and donate via register pull tab or by purchasing a “hunger bag” of non-perishable food.
- VOLUNTEER: Be an MCFB Ambassador at participating grocery stores to encourage donations!
- DONATE: Contribute to our Souper Bowl of Caring Virtual Food Drive online at MCFoodBank.org/SouperBowl
- HOST: Organize your own Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive at your place of business, education or worship!
