SPLENDORA PILL BUST

On September 16, 2017 at approximately 1400 hours, K9 Officer St. Romain observed a Camero traveling 84 mph in a posted 65 mph on US Highway 59 @ FM 2090. Upon making contact with the driver, Officer St. Romain could smell a strong odor coming from the driver side window. Once both occupants exited the vehicle, the driver refused any search. St. Romain ran K9 A.D. around the vehicle. K9 A.D. hit on the vehicle on multiple locations. Both males were detained at that point. Upon further investigation, bags of pills were located in various areas inside the vehicle. Both males were charged with Manufacturing with the intent to Deliver First Degree Felony on the Xanax bars (112 grams) and Manufacturing with the intent to Deliver First Degree Felony on the Ecstasy (90 grams). The driver was also on probation for a similar charge in Arkansas.
Arrested were Maurice Larell Everett, of Little Rock, Arkansas and Kevin Lamont Stelivan, 28, also of Little Rock, Arkansas. Stelivan is charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance greater than 4 grams but less than 400 grams also a second manufacture and delivery charge of greater than 28 grams but less than 200 grams. He remains in the Montgomery County Jail on a $200,000 bond. Maurice Larell Everett, 19, remains in the Montgomery County Jail on a $200,000 bond. He is charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance greater than 4 grams but less than 400 grams also a second manufacture and delivery charge of greater than 28 grams but less than 200 grams.
