Tonight: Strong thunderstorm moving across the region between 1 am and 9 am.

Areas along and south of the Interstate 10 corridor extending out into the Gulf waters will have the highest threat of strong winds. Winds of 20-40 mph with higher gusts will be possible.

Elevated high tide levels of 2.5 to 3.5 feet above MLLW will be possible through Tuesday
afternoon. Strong rip currents will continue as well through the evening hours.
