Moments ago the National Weather Service has issued a severe weather statement for western Harris County where storms are building as far up as Cypress with some one-inch hail being reported.
With the heat index in Conroe at 108 at 4pm storms are also building over Grimes County moving away from Montgomery County. No warnings have been issued for Montgomery County as of yet.
With Conroe’s humidity being low at 40 % is is quite the opposite in Grimes County where the rain is falling it is 88 degrees with the humidity at 67%.
Forecasters say Montgomery County may still see some rain today.
Meanwhile Tropical Storm Debby has moved in a short time ago at Steinhatchee, Florida.
