TOMBALL, Texas, January 22, 2015 – Texas Litter Control has opened a second adoption location for cats in the Petsmart in Tomball.  TLC was invited into the store located at 14420 FM 2920, Tomball, TX 77377 at the beginning of January.  The adoption center is set up and kitties are ready for new homes!  TLC opened the first location in the Willowbrook Petsmart in March of 2014 and performed over 250 adoptions to date!  With the second location, TLC is on schedule to perform 750 adoptions in 2015!

Cats and kittens are fully vetted:  spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, combo tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, dewormed and current on vaccines.  Adoption fees are $50 for kittens and $25 for cats over 1 year of age.  Adoption fees are often waived for cats over 3 years old.

“We are so excited to get into a second Petsmart,” explains Deana Sellens, Executive Director of Texas Litter Control.  “Our primary focus is on low cost spay/neuter but that is only part of the equation to get the numbers of animals killed in our shelters down.  Adoptions and community support are critical.  We all need to do our part to let our community know that it is no longer OK to let your cats and dogs have litters.  Even if you give all of the offspring away, that is one less home to get a pet off of death row.”

We need the community’s help in spreading the word about adoption options and the fact that low cost and free spay/neuter is available.  If you are feeding a stray cat, the TLC clinic offers a Free Roaming Cat program for $55!  For more information about our programs, visit our website:  TexasLitterControl.org.

Texas Litter Control only exists because of our lovely donors and supporters!  To donate online, visit our website or mail checks to Texas Litter Control, 150 Pruitt Road #H, Spring, TX 77380.

Even if you cannot donate, you can still help!  If you shop at Amazon, go to SMILE.AMAZON.COM and select Texas Litter Control as your charity of choice.  Tie your Kroger card to us.  If you sell on eBay, you can chose us to receive a donation.  Donate used ink jet cartridges, toner cartridges, cell phones, books, DVDs, CDs, Audio Tapes, and blu-rays.  We recycle them for cash.

Texas Litter Control is a not for profit, low cost spay/neuter and wellness clinic for cats and dogs.  TLC is open Monday through Saturday.  The TLC clinic could not exist without the generosity of Petroleum Wholesale. Petroleum Wholesale provides the space for TLC clinic as a service to the community.  The clinic is located adjacent to Petroleum Wholesale’s Texaco station at the Rayford/Sawdust exit on the west side of Interstate 45 just south of the Woodlands at 150 Pruitt Road #H, Spring 77380.  Petroleum Wholesale has been supporting the rescue of dogs and other companion animals for nearly two decades.  Visit TexasLitterControl.org for a full list of prices and services or to book online.
