District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)
A 40 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:54pm, December 27, in the 13000 block of FM 1485 by Deputy J. Hodges for a burglary of a building warrant and a theft/ failure to appear warrant, both out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was notified of the male’s location. The male was transported to jail.
On December 27, Deputies C. Santoro and K. Underwood were notified of a welfare concern in the 16200 block of Hwy 105 E. The Deputies located a male coming out of the woods stumbling and very intoxicated. The male was detained. The welfare concern involved a male that was inside a bar at the location and he was also detained for public intoxication. The males, a 26 year old from Willis and a 72 year old from New Waverly, were arrested at 11:38pm and transported to jail.
On December 28, Deputy C. Santoro stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 16400 block of Hwy 105 E. During the investigation the driver was found to be in possession of a handgun and was detained. The female passenger was found to be intoxicated. The 27 year old male from Willis and the 20 year old female from Conroe were arrested at 1:38am and transported to jail.
On December 28, Deputy K. Berger stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 17200 block of Hwy 105 E. Upon making contact with the driver the Deputy determined the male driver was intoxicated. The 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:22pm, charged with DWI and transported to jail.
On December 29, Deputy K. Underwood stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 8700 block of Dusty Lane. After identifying the male driver it was found out the male was operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:41am, charged with driving while license invalid and transported to jail.
On December 30, Deputies R. Overbay and K. Underwood were dispatched to the 10500 block of Greenridge Road in reference to a disturbance in progress. The Deputies met with a male complainant who stated his wife was upset with him and pushed him. She struck him on the face. He attempted to call 9-1-1 and she took the phone from him and broke it. He attempted to use her phone and she took it away from him. The 44 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 12:34am, charged with interference with an emergency call and was transported to jail.
On December 31, Deputies R. Overbay and S. Degner were alerted to a possible intoxicated driver traffic stop made by Sgt. J. Varnell in the area of Hwy 105 and FM 1484. The 30 year old male from Cleveland was found to be intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. The male was arrested at 12:37am, charged with DWI and driving with license invalid and was transported to jail.
A 29 year old male from Livingston was arrested at 3:51am, December 31, in the 13000 block of FM 1485 by Deputies R. Overbay and K. D. Berger for a parole violation warrant out of TDCJ. The Deputies were investigating a suspicious vehicle. The male was transported to jail.
A 54 year old female from Willis was arrested at 4:18pm, December 31, in the 14200 block of Calvary Road by Deputy A. Booher for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a suspicious vehicle call. The female was transported to jail.
On December 31, Deputy S. Degner, working DWI STEP, stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Hwy 105 and Woodridge. During the investigation the male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 57 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 11:05pm, charged with DWI and taken to jail.
On January 1, Deputy S. Degner, working DWI STEP, stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of N. Loop 336 and N. Frazier. During the investigation the male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 60 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:30am, charged with DWI and taken to jail.
On January 1, Deputy C. Santoro was sent to the 14800 block of White Horse Lane in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy located an intoxicated female who was involved in the disturbance. The 25 year old female from Willis was arrested at 3:42am, charged with public intoxication and taken to jail.
On January 1, Deputy S. Degner, working DWI STEP, stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Hwy 75 and Oak Branch. During the investigation the male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 32 year old male from Willis was arrested at 3:42am, charged with DWI and transported to jail.
A 21 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 5:30am, January 1, in the area of FM 1097 and White Oak Hills by Sgt. C. Rogers for a driving while intoxicated warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was seen walking down the road flagging for a ride. The male was taken to jail.
A 25 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:13pm, January 1, in the 12700 block of Hwy 105 E by Deputy C. Santoro for a civil failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was stopped on a traffic violation. He was taken to jail.
On January 2, Deputy S. Degner, working DWI STEP, stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Hwy 105 E and Crockett Martin. During the investigation the male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 32 year old male from Lubbock was arrested at 1:47am, charged with DWI and transported to jail.
District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)
On December 24, 2010, Deputy Jobe was dispatched to the intersection of Riley Fuzzel and Birnhamwoods Blvd. to assist a Harris County officer on a traffic stop. Upon arrival, Deputy Jobe met with Deputy Persaud, who stated that he was on his way home when the suspect nearly struck his patrol vehicle. Deputy Persaud then activated his emergency equipment, conducted a traffic stop of the suspect vehicle, and waited for Montgomery County deputies to arrive. Deputy Jobe made contact with the suspect, 32 year old male from Conroe, who was showing signs of intoxication. The suspect could hardly stand up and nearly fell over several times during the interview. During the course of the investigation a container with marijuana and brownies with marijuana baked in them was located. Additional charges of Possession of Marijuana were added and the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On December 25, 2010, Deputy Wakefield while in the area of Briarcrest Apartments observed three men stumbling around near the roadway. Deputy Wakefield made contact with the men, ages 35, 35 and 25, all from Spring and were for Public Intoxication. All three men were transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Jail staff located two small bags on one of the men that contained a white powdery substance. The substance field-tested positive for cocaine and an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance was added to that suspect’s arrest record.
On December 28, 2010, at approximately 2:30 am, Deputy Jobe witnessed a vehicle on Sawdust Road, driving with no lights on, failing to maintain a single marked lane, striking a center divider, driving in and over medians, and driving into oncoming traffic. Deputy Jobe activated his lights and siren to signal a traffic stop. The vehicle eventually stopped facing the wrong way on the roadway. Deputy Jobe made contact with the driver and noticed an overwhelming odor of alcohol. The driver was clearly too intoxicated to operate a motor vehicle. She was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where she was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On December 30, 2010, Deputy Maldonado and Deputy Swank were dispatched to a residence at 25000 block of IH-45, in reference to an Assault Family Violence. Upon arrival, they met with all parties involved and found that the suspect, 48-year-old male from Spring, had been drinking and had an argument with his wife. At one point in the argument, the suspect struck his wife. The suspect was taken into custody for Assault-Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
The following Shoplifting Arrests were reported:
12/22 – Deputy Mitchell arrested 21-year-old female from Missouri City for Theft at 1025 Sawdust Road. The suspect attempted to take $412.60 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
12/25 – Deputy Mitchell arrested a 20 year old female and a 17 year old female both from New Caney, for Theft at 25101 Grogans Mill Road. The suspects attempted to take $166.43 worth of merchandise from the CVS Pharmacy. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 12/31/10 Deputy Ashmore was dispatched to the 23000 block of Wildwood oaks in reference to a Trespasser call. Upon his arrival he found the suspect to be intoxicated and had backed his vehicle into a ditch upon leaving. The suspect, a 27 year old male from New Caney was given field sobriety tasks and was then arrested and charged with DWI.
On 12/31/10 Deputy Rippley was dispatched to Erika Ct. in reference to suspects attempting to strip a vehicle of parts. Upon arrival the Deputy located two males walking away from a vehicle which was stolen the night before. The males were interviewed and one of the males was found to be in possession of property from the stolen vehicle. The suspect, a 17 year old male from Porter was arrested and charged with Felony Theft.
On 1/1/11 Deputy Birch was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to an intoxicated female. Upon his arrival he met with loss prevention and learned that the female had stolen $42 worth of merchandise and was highly intoxicated. The suspect, a 24 year old female from Beaumont was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Theft.
On 1/2/11 Deputy Morris was dispatched to the 27000 block of Coach Light Dr. in reference to a family violence call. Upon arrival he met with the victim and learned that the suspect had struck her in the shoulder and arm and had broken her cel. Phone so that she could not contact police. The suspect, a 28 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Assault.
On 1/3/11 Deputy Guion was dispatched to a Burglary in progress in the 16000 block of Springfield Dr. A witness observed four males burglarize a home and then fled the scene in a vehicle. The Deputy was able to locate vehicle and detain the suspects. Three adult males and one juvenile male were arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation.
On 1/3/11 Deputy Walker was dispatched to Hwy. 59 @ F.M. 1485 in reference to a disturbance call. Upon his arrival he learned that the driver of an armored car had been involved in a road rage incident. The driver of the armored car had pulled out his pistol and held it up in the window while driving down the road. The suspect, a 23 year old male from Houston was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.
District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)
On January 3rd Deputy Provenzano was traveling southbound on Dobbin Huffsmith when he observed a vehicle run a stop sign. The Deputy initiated a traffic stop and approached the driver a 34 year old male subject and immediately noticed a smell of alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. The Deputy preformed Standard Field Sobriety test and detected six clues of intoxication. The subject was arrested for DWI and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On January 2nd Deputy Provenzano observed a 40 year old female subject walking in the middle of SH 249. Vehicles traveling south on 249 had to get out of the way to avoid hitting the subject. Deputy Provenzano stopped the subject and could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her breath and person. The subject advised she had been at a bar and was trying to walk home after failing to find a ride. She was placed her into custody for Public Intoxication and transported her to female booking at the Montgomery County Jail.
On January 1st Sergeant Hernandez and Deputy Mittag were dispatched to an Assault investigation Weeren Rd. Upon arrival the Deputies made contact with the Victim and a Witness. While interviewing the Witness, the Victim a 24 year old male subject failed to cooperate with the deputies and exhibited signs of being intoxicated. As Sergeant Hernandez approached the subject he began to run away, but was quickly apprehended. The subject was charged with Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On December 29th Sergeant Russell was dispatched to a vehicle stuck in the ditch at FM 1488 and Cedar Ridge. Upon arrival Sergeant Russell met with the driver of the vehicle (a 36 year old male subject) who was standing in the parking lot of an adjacent strip center. The Sergeant immediately noticed the subject was unsteady on his feet and his speech was very slurred. The subject was unable to complete his sentences and admitted to being lost. The subject was taken into custody and charged with DWI.
On December 24th Deputy Suarez was traveling north on FM 1774 when he observed a Dodge Dakota failing to control a single marked lane. Deputy Suarez initiated a traffic stop made contact with the driver a 23 year old Hispanic male subject. As the Deputy walked up to the vehicle he could smell a heavy odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. Deputy Suarez conducted a Field Sobriety test on the subject who indicated six clues of intoxication. The subject was charged with DWI and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)
On December 29th Sr. Sergeant Allen responded to the 14100 block of Cecala in regards to a Theft. The Complainant stated that sometime during the night someone entered his property and stole a large power tool from under his carport. The scene was processed for evidence, witness statements obtained and information gathered regarding persons of interest. The investigation is ongoing and being coordinated by the Patrol Division.
On January 1st Deputy Davis responded to the 100 block of Summer Wind on the report of a Suspicious Vehicle. It was discovered that the vehicle was occupied by an adult male and female, both intoxicated and passed out. Both individuals, non-residents of the private subdivision where they were located, were arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 1st several Deputy’s conducted a search of the Sam Houston National Forest near the 20600 block of Forest Rd 224 in an attempt to locate a wanted individual that has been hiding out in the woods to elude law enforcement. The subject was located and taken into custody without incident. In addition, Deputies were able to locate and recover numerous articles of stolen property that had been taken in residential burglaries. The subject was then transported to and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on two outstanding warrants for Burglary of a Habitation.
On January 1st Deputy Garner responded to an Alarm on a business located in the 14400 block of SH 105 W. Upon arrival Deputy’s found forced entry into the building but the suspect had already fled the scene. The Complainant reported his loss to be in excess of $500 dollars. The scene was processed for evidence and will be utilized for investigative purposes by the Criminal Investigation Division.
On January 2nd Deputy Fluellen conducted a Traffic Stop on a vehicle for a defective headlamp in the 12600 block of Walden Rd. Upon speaking with the male driver and checking on his driving status it was learned that the individual had outstanding warrants.
The subject was arrested on the Warrants and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)
On December 25, 2010, Deputy Underwood arrested a 19-year-old female from The Woodlands for Possession of Marijuana, after a traffic stop on Glen Loch and Dawnwood. The suspect was a passenger in a vehicle that was the subject of an earlier Attempt to locate. Deputy Underwood had located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop based on the information received from Dispatch. Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputy Underwood noticed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. During his investigation, the passenger was found to have a small bag containing .028 oz. of marijuana in her seat. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On December 26, 2010, Sergeant Jenkins was patrolling the area of Fountains Plaza when he was approached by a Silver BMW travelling in his lane of traffic. The BMW swerved and missed a collision with the patrol vehicle and then drove into a nearby parking garage on Lake Robbins. Sergeant Jenkins made contact with the driver as the driver was exiting his vehicle. Sergeant Jenkins noticed the driver was unsteady on his feet and slightly staggering. The driver, 25-year-old male from Magnolia, was argumentative, but did agree to perform the Field Sobriety Tests. After several attempts, the suspect stated he could not see to do the test and stopped. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On December 26, 2010, Deputy Lawless responded to a Burglary of a Habitation call. The complainant stated they let the suspect into their home to use the phone, supposedly to call for emergency services for the suspect’s father, who was having a heart attack. The complainant left the apartment during the phone call and when he returned, the suspect was gone and his XBOX 360 was missing. A short time later, another resident in the same complex called with a similar situation. The suspect, again asking to use the phone, had attempted to take her wallet. The suspect gave her a fictitious name and address. Deputy Lawless located the suspect, a 24-year-old male from The Woodlands. He was taken into custody. The suspect was charged with two counts of Burglary of a Habitation and Violation of a Protective Order. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On December 28, 2010 at approximately 12:13 am, Deputy Jones observed a vehicle parked in the Alden Bridge Park and proceeded to investigate, due to the park being closed from dusk to dawn. As he pulled into the parking lot, the vehicle attempted to drive around his patrol vehicle. Deputy Jones conducted a stop of the vehicle and during the course of his contact with the driver, 18-year-old male from The Woodlands, and the passenger, 17-year-old female from The Woodlands, found both to be in possession of separate containers of marijuana. Both were charged with Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
The following Shoplifting Arrests were reported:
12/22 – Deputy Sherlock arrested a 23-year-old female and a 26-year-old male both from Houston, for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspects attempted to take $248.52 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
12/23 – Deputy Prince arrested a 27-year-old male from Humble for Theft/Aggregate Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect, a store employee, attempted to take $73.00 worth of merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was stopped by Loss Prevention and returned to the store to await the deputy’s arrival. The suspect had been under surveillance due to a large amount of money missing from his register on multiple occasions. The suspect would pocket cash payments during a transaction or would credit back previous purchases to his credit card, without actually returning the merchandise. Total amount taken over a several weeks is approximately $1325.04. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
12/24 – Deputy Evans arrested a 21-year-old male from Houston for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $117.00 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
