TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO THE ARREST OF A SUSPECTED DRUG DEALER

On October 6, 2018, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2600 block of FM 1960. The driver was identified as Elijah McFarland.

During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy located several illegal substances including Ecstasy, Adderall, Oxycodone, Xanax and Marijuana concealed within a hidden compartment. The majority of these substances were packaged in a manner consistent with sale and delivery of illegal narcotics.

“Elijah McFarland was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. His total bond is set at $31,500.00 out of the 174th District Court.” – Constable Mark HermanElijah McFarland
