Traffic Stop Results in Meth, Gun Charges

On 4/26/2017 just before 6pm, a Pct. 4 deputies stopped a silver Ford F150 for speeding on the northbound feeder road of Highway 59 just before East River Road in Splendora, TX. An investigation found 122 grams of methamphetamine in separate baggies as well as a .380 semi-auto hand gun.  Both the driver, identified as Wells, Nathan 34 and the passenger, identified as Dayton, Jennifer 26, both from Cleveland, TX have been charged with 1st degree felony charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Constable Hayden noted that these drugs were probably destined for the streets of East Montgomery County. It’s good thing that deputies were able to locate the drugs and get them off the streets.
