At 5:17 pm on Saturday, Houston Police were dispatched to the railroad tracks just west of the intersection of Stella Link and South Loop 610 West for a train pedestrian crash. According to police, they arrived on the scene with Houston Fire Department ambulance to find a white male believed to be in his 50’s deceased under the train. The train conductor told police the man was seen in the area of the train which was moving between 5 and 10mph just before the man was struck and pulled under the train. The Harris County Medical Examiners Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death and attempt to identify the victim. At 8 pm the east and westbound lanes of the feeder just west of Stella Link remain closed and are expected to remain closed until approximately 10 pm.
