Conroe Fire Department was dispatched to Williams Furniture at the corner of Lewis and Frazier just after 8 p.m. Monday night. When the first units arrived they found fire coming out all windows and doors and extending through the roof.
Conroe firefighters immediately started knocking it down from the outside as a second alarm was called for. North Montgomery County, River Plantation, Lake Conroe and the Woodlands were then dispatched.
The fire was brought under control just as the first two alarm units started arriving.
Conroe Police closed Frazier from Dallas to West Davis due to fire hose on the ground and the equipment on the scene.
The fire is under investigation by the Conroe Fire Marshal’s Office.
