Police are looking for a man they say held up a bank in Kingwood on Monday morning.According to the Houston Police Department, it was around 10:45 a.m. when the man entered the BBVA Compass Bank in the 200 block of Northpark between Loop 494 and US 59.
The man was last seen running from the bank with a briefcase.
The suspect is described as a white male about six feet tall wearing a white and blue shirt with black pants and black tennis shoes.
It’s unknown how much money the man got away with.
At 2:36 pm this Afternoon, 4/25/11, a white male, 30-40 years old, medium build, 5’8” – 5’10”, short brown hair, wearing a long sleeve button down dress shirt and blue jeans entered the Citi Bank located at 18410 IH-45 South in Shenandoah. The male approached the teller and presented a demand letter for money. The male suspect indicated that he was armed and was given an undisclosed amount of cash from the Teller station. There were no injuries. The suspect fled the bank and, at this time, there is no vehicle information or direction of travel available. This male suspect was possibly involved in another bank robbery at the Compass Bank in Porter, Texas earlier today. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating that case and Shenandoah Investigators will be communicating with them in an effort to solve these cases.
