TWO CRITICALLY INJURED IN CLEVELAND CRASH

Monday at 5:49 p.m., the Cleveland Police Department was notified of an accident that had occurred near the 19,000 Block of FM 787.

Officers responded to a two vehicle accident involving a Silver Honda SUV and a Peterbilt Tractor/Trailer.

Officers found that the Honda SUV was traveling west on FM 787 and the Peterbilt Tractor/Trailer was traveling east on FM 787.

According to witnesses, the Honda SUV drifted into oncoming traffic at which time the Peterbilt Tractor/Trailer struck the SUV. The SUV turned into the trailer after being struck, causing further damage.

The 20-year-old driver and 11-year-old, backseat passenger were transported via Life Flight to Memorial Hermann. The 14-year-old, front seat passenger was transported via EMS to Cleveland Regional Hospital and was later released.

The accident is currently under investigation by the Cleveland Police Department.
