About 7:30am Friday Liberty County dispatchers started receiving calls of a major accident on SH 105 near Moss Hill. A 2015 Ford F-150 pickup was traveling east on SH 105 when the driver, identified as Jarod Lawrence Johnson, 40, of Cleveland, crossed the center line and clipped a westbound 2012 Chevrolet pickup pulling a trailer. Johnson then struck an International 4400 work truck head on. Johnson was transported to Memorial Hermann in Houston in critical condition. Johnson’s front seat passenger, 32-year old Harpole of Cleveland, died on the scene. In addition a 7-year-old child was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured. THe driver of the International 4400 was treated for minor injuries on the scene.
