TWO DEAD IN SOUTH MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHOOTING

At about 10:45 pm Friday Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting in the 25600 blocks of I-45 in Spring. The reportee reported hearing several shots and seeing someone lying on the ground in the courtyard of the Dakota Canyon Apartment complex and not moving. Units arrived on the scene and found a black male and a white female deceased. An attempt to locate was put out on a black male wearing a hoodie, shorts and missing a shoe. He was seen running from the scene but they are not sure he was involved. Detectives say it could possibly be
a murder-suicide but and an autopsy will determine that. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack who was accompanied by Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Elect Dunn responded to the scene and ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the two victims to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for an autopsy. The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and Texas Rangers are also assisting in the investigation.
