Just after 10:30 p.m. on Friday night Montgomery County was dispatched to a reported disturbance with guns on Leafy Meadow in the Lone Star Ranch Subdivision. While en route they learned a homeowner was shot and a black male ran out a front door and another out the back. MCHD and Caney Creek arrived as soon as the scene was secure and transported the homeowner with a gunshot wound to the back. He was taken to Memorial Herman in The Woodlands in critical but stable condition. While on the scene another call came in in reference to a shooting a few blocks away on Lone Star Ranch Road. A second fire unit and medic were dispatched to that location. There a black male was found from a vehicle who had been shot. A witness said a vehicle pulled up in the driveway and one male stated he had been shot. That male was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was found to be one that had been involved in the botched robbery. The other black male is still on the run. A hospital check has been going on as there is a chance he was shot also. As units arrived on the first scene where the shooting first happened a male was seen running in the shadows. Deputies stopped him and he was found to have a container and shoebox with drugs. It was not determined yet if he was coming from the location of the shooting or just trying to get out of the area with police arriving.
