042616 US 59 DBL FATAL.00_00_37_05.Still001A little after 3pm a sewer worker was working on the southbound feeder of US 59 near FM 1314 when a vehicle disregarded the traffic cones and slammed into the rear of the pump truck. The impact pinned the construction worker between the pump truck and the striking vehicle. The worker for Sewer Services of Texas died instantly. The vehicle that struck the back of the truck burst into flames killing the driver of the striking vehicle. The workers brother who is also the owner of the company witnessed the crash.
