This morning just after dawn reports came in of a vehicle that had driven off the FM 830 boat ramp and into Lake Conroe. Reports of two people in the vehicle. North Montgomery County Fire responded with a fire boat and an engine. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Panorama Police also responded. They arrived on the scene just as a fisherman was able to free her and get her to the surface. The vehicle went into the lake on the boat ramp and continued to float with only the passenger compartment submerging. The female was transported to Conroe Regional Trauma Center in stable condition. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable Lt. Tim Cade said when the call came in , the second person seen by the caller was actually the fisherman attempting to rescue her. It was also believed that the female attempted suicide. With temperatures at 37 degrees and heavy winds it was decided to have Tow Boats USA recover the vehicle from the lake.
