On 05-14-10, approximately 3:00 pm, Conroe Police officers and investigators responded to a reported bank robbery at the Wachovia Bank located in the 1300 block of West Davis Street.

The initial investigation revealed a white male suspect entered the bank and demanded money from one of the tellers.  The suspect stated he had a gun; however, no weapon was displayed during the robbery.  The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and the suspect left without incident.

The suspect was described as approximately 5’9” to 5’10”, medium build, 35 to 45 years of age, with brown hair and “scruffy” facial hair.  The suspect was wearing a dark blue pullover style shirt, light blue color jeans and a tan cap.  Witness reports stated the suspect left the area in what was described as a silver 4 door passenger car, possibly an Acura.  At the time of this press release, the amount of money taken had not been determined.
