Why is the license plate blurred? Crime Stoppers and of course the MCSO and HEB are asking for the public’s help in identifying these parasites but blur the license plate taking an effective tool from us. Recognizing a license plate is easier than recognizing average looking suspects whom you don’t know. This is as stupid as reporting a crime identifying the suspect(s) only as male or female then asking the public to be on the lookout for them. Approximately half the population is male and the other half is female. Of course some are confused which they are. How can the public help look for a “male” or “female” suspect with no other information to go by? How can we look for a silver Malibu if we don’t have a license plate? There are a lot of silver Malibus out there so is everybody who drives one a suspect? I’m glad I don’t have one.
