Wanted Fugitive Arrested



raymondfieldOn Tuesday, June 28, 2011 around 11:55 p.m. Cleveland Police Department officers arrested Raymond Howard Field, III, age 45, Porter, Tx. on several outstanding warrants that had been issued for his arrest. Information led officers to the 600 block of Easy St. here in the City of Cleveland where Field’s was said to be staying in an attempt to avoid apprehension.

Field was arrested on three different warrants 1) Parole Violation issued by the Austin Parole Division, 2) Assault Class (A) misdemeanor warrant issued by the City of Cleveland’s Municipal Court, and 3) Felony Arson warrant from Harris County. Field was taken into custody, and later transferred to the Liberty County Jail. Holds were placed on Field by Austin, and Harris County due to “no bond” set on the warrants.

The Assault charge from Cleveland stemmed from an incident reported in September of 2010 where Field allegedly struck a family member in the face several times in the 800 block of  U.S. Highway 59. According to the family member, Field also made threat’s “that he would burn her house down”.

Field remains in the Liberty County Jail at press time.
