Last Saturday evening close to 6 pm a Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy was on his way home traveling south on US 59. As he approached Northpark a red Chevrolet Cruze passed him at close to 100 mph. The deputy dropped in behind him and attempted to stop him. The vehicle exited Kingwood Drive and as it turned eastbound on Kingwood Drive a male and a female jumped out of the passenger side of the vehicle as it was still going close to 15mph. The vehicles rear wheels almost rolled over the female. The deputy stopped to check on them and alerted units to attempt to locate the vehicle. The female was taken to Kingwood Hospital in stable condition. As deputies interviewed the pair they learned that the driver of the vehicle identified as Ezekiel Joshua Hall had met them in Porter and was transporting them to Deerbrook Mall. Once they were to arrive there they were given a shopping list of items to steal. For this, he was going to give them marijuana. When Hall saw the Deputy behind him he opened the center console and produced a Glock pistol. He then informed the pair that he was not going to be taken alive by the police. That is when they decided to jump out. Deputies were able to secure a warrant for Hall’s arrest on Monday and a search was started for him. At about 1:30 am Tuesday morning a Harris County Deputy attempted to stop the vehicle on traffic near Spring Cypress and Jan Glenn. The driver sped us and a pursuit ensued. It was after dispatchers found the officer safety warning attached to the license number on the computers. The deputy was alerted and additional units responded. The suspect was finally taken into custody at Old Bammel and Bammel N. Houston in Northwest Harris County when he tried to run on foot.
