District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On October 11, Deputy J. Parker was notified of a family violence assault call in the 14200 block of East Ravine Run. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated her husband had been drinking and after getting home they got into a verbal argument which led to a physical altercation. The female advised her husband hit her several times and choked her. The male left the location and, after locating him, was detained in the area of Longstreet and I-45. The 40 year old male from Willis was arrested at 9:20am and transported to jail.

On October 12, Deputy K. Underwood was sent to the intersection of FM 1484 and FM 2432 in reference to a female that had been seen stumbling in the roadway. The Deputy located the female and determined she was very intoxicated. The 38 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 9:40pm and taken to jail.

On October 12, Deputy J. Hodges was dispatched to the 12600 block of Maxwell Street in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he and his girlfriend had been drinking and got into a verbal disagreement. The female struck the complainant across the face. The 34 year old female was arrested at 10:27pm and transported to jail.

On October 13, Deputy C. Holcomb responded to the 10400 block of Meador Road in reference to a disturbance in progress. The Deputy located a male that had been involved in the disturbance and he was found to be intoxicated. The male had previously received a citation for assault in the same area. The 44 year old male from Willis was arrested at 12:00pm and taken to jail.

On October 14, Deputy J. Bourne was notified of a welfare concern in the 12200 block of FM 3083 involving a male that was passed out in a vehicle. The male was found to be intoxicated. The 53 year old male from Sugarland was arrested at 5:16pm and taken to jail.

On October 15, Deputy J. Kader was sent to the 15400 block of Dewberry Lane in reference to a burglary of a building. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised someone had entered into her building through a window and stolen several identifiable items. Information was gathered and the suspects were located. Two males were detained for the building burglary and also for two vehicle burglaries. The males, a 19 year old from Conroe and a 21 year old from Porter, were arrested at 10:38am and transported to jail.

A 66 year old male with an unknown address was arrested at 2:15pm, October 15, in the 1300 block of West Davis by Deputy K. Albritton for a theft warrant out of Montgomery County. The male had been detained by an off duty Montgomery PD officer. The male was taken to jail.

On October 15, Deputy A. Booher was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 12700 block of FM 830. A male on location that was part of the verbal disturbance was found to be intoxicated. The 66 year old male from Montgomery was arrested at 8:56pm and transported to jail.

A 42 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 3:49am, October 16, at the Conroe ER by Deputy S. Squier for two fugitive from justice warrants out of Leon County for evading arrest/detention with a motor vehicle and failure to appear. The male was also arrested for a fugitive from justice warrant out of Titus County for evading arrest/detention with a vehicle. The male was transported to jail.

On October 16, Deputy J. Hodges responded to the 16500 block of Crockett Forest Drive in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with Deputy J. Bourne who was already on scene and was detaining a male suspect. Deputy Hodges received information from a female complainant, who was the wife of the male suspect, and who stated her husband had come home drunk and they got into a verbal argument. The male hit her on the mouth and face. She attempted to call 9-1-1 and he took the phone and threw it. A witness said the male had grabbed the complainant by the hair and slammed her head on the table once. The 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:05pm and transported to jail.

On October 16, Sergeant E. Ward was notified of a family violence assault call in the 14000 block of Buckskin Drive. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he and his wife got into a verbal argument which led to his wife pushing him several times. She threw a plate at him causing a laceration on his hand. He attempted to leave and his wife followed him and kept pushing him. The 63 year old female from Willis was arrested at 9:40pm and taken to jail.

On October 17, Sergeant D. Bonner was dispatched to the 16500 block of E. Williams in reference to a welfare concern involving a male that was passed out in the reportee’s vehicle. The Deputy located the male who was found to be very intoxicated. The 22 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 12:35pm and transported to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On October 10, 2010, Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to a residence in the 29300 block of Alba Rose in reference to a Family Disturbance. Deputy Zavorski met with all parties upon his arrival and learned that the suspect and her boyfriend had an argument and both were throwing things in the house. The suspect continued to argue with the boyfriend. Deputy Zavorski arrested the suspect, 47-year-old Female from Houston, for Public Intoxication. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On October 11, 2010, Deputy Jobe was on patrol in the area of 1025 Sawdust Road when he observed a vehicle, with no lights on and exits the parking lot at a high rate of speed. Deputy Jobe was flagged down by a security guard, who stated that the suspect vehicle had pushed a shopping cart into a concrete pillar, destroying it, and then nearly struck him as they sped off. Deputy Jobe caught up with the suspect vehicle at Grogans Mill and Sawdust Road. Both occupants, 18-year-old Male from Spring and 20-year-old Male from The Woodlands, stated that they were just having fun and didn’t realize they had caused any damage. Damage to the shopping cart was estimated at $300. Both suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On October 11, 2010, Deputy Christensen responded to a Welfare Check in the 25000 block of IH-45. A wrecker driver had been called to the scene to help a motorist. When he arrived, he noticed that the vehicle had damage to the frontend and notified the Sheriff’s office. Deputy Christensen arrived on scene, met with the wrecker driver, and waited for the driver to come back. When he arrived, Deputy Christensen noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and his speech was slurred. The driver, 25-year-old male from Spring, was placed in custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On October 12, 2010, Deputy Wakefield was en route to a possible Burglary of a Habitation in progress when he was notified that the suspects had left the scene on foot and may have split up on Budde Road. Deputy Wakefield observed a subject heading southbound on Budde Road that met the general description of one of the suspects. It was determined that the subject was not involved in the original offense but was found to be in possession of marijuana. Deputy Wakefield contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted on the 22-year-old Male from Spring for Possession of Marijuana.

On October 17, 2010, Sergeant Barber was dispatched to an Attempt to Locate a vehicle traveling the wrong direction (west in the eastbound lanes) on SH 242. While en route to the area, dispatch advised that the suspect vehicle had crashed into another vehicle and left the scene. The suspect vehicle was located in a parking lot nearby and advised officers that someone had hit her vehicle. The driver was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated. .7 grams of cocaine was found in her car. Charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance were added to the charges against the driver. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 10/13/10, Deputy’s Logan and Ashmore were dispatched to the 26100 Block of Pine Lane – New Caney, Texas in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. The homeowner at the along with his two brothers had captured the suspect, an 18 YOA white male. The suspect admitted to the Burglary and was arrested.

On 10/14/10, Deputy Ortiz was dispatched to the area of Loop 494/ East Martin in Porter, Texas for a Welfare Concern. The defendant, a 43 YOA Hispanic male was found sleeping on a couch in the store parking lot in a heavily intoxicated state. Defendant was also found to have several misdemeanor warrants out for his arrest. Warrants were confirmed and defendant was arrested for the warrants as well as Public Intoxication.

On 10/17/10, Deputy Holden was dispatched to the 19700 Block of N White Oak in New Caney, Texas for a Family Violence in Progress. Investigation revealed that a 30 YOA white female was attempting to run over her husband with a vehicle during a heated argument. It was learned that the defendant had struck a fence, gate and trees with the vehicle during this attempt to run over the husband. Defendant was arrested for Aggravated Assault.

On 10/18/10, Deputy Ortiz was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a Theft in which the 43 YOA white male had walked out of the store without paying for merchandise. The male subject was detained and Sheriff’s Office was summoned at which time the male became a defendant and was placed in jail.

On 10/19/10, Deputy Harman was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a Theft where a 20 YOA white female had taken approximately $18 in merchandise out of the store without paying. When approached, the female threw the merchandise down and went and hid in a van until Sheriff’s Office arrival. With assistance from video surveillance, the female was located hiding in a van in the parking lot. It was found that the female had prior convictions of Theft which enhanced this offense to a State Jail Felony. Female defendant was arrested and placed in jail with a $5,000 Bond.

On 10/19/10, Deputy Holden was dispatched to the 15500 Block of O’Connor in Splendora, Texas in reference to a family violence in progress. Investigation revealed that a 31 YOA male defendant had assaulted his 29 YOA spouse. It was also found that the defendant had three (3) open misdemeanor Warrants for his arrest. Defendant was placed in jail.

On 10/20/10, Deputy’s Logan and White were dispatched 24800 Block of Sorters Road Porter, Texas in reference to a 24 YOA black male that had been observed driving extremely erratically and was now stopped. Investigation revealed that a witness had followed this subject after almost being struck head on. Witness observed the subject disposing of alcoholic beverages (beer) before Sheriff’s Office arrival. Subject could not complete basic field sobriety task and was arrested for DWI and Tampering with Evidence.

On 10/20/10, Deputy White was dispatched to the 27500 Block of Spanish Oaks New Caney, Texas in reference to Criminal Trespass. Investigation revealed that the 37 YOA while male defendant had been warned three (3) weeks earlier that his presence was prohibited at a mobile home by complainant. It was found that defendant had returned to this mobile home wearing only a women’s one piece bathing suit, high heel shoes and a women’s hair piece. Defendant was arrested for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation and placed in jail with a $750 Bond.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On October 16th Deputy Herman and Deputy Mittag were dispatched to the 28000 block Aberdeen in reference to an Assault Family Violence. The Deputies met with the female Complainant and a 21 year old male subject. The Complainant advised she and the male subject had been arguing over some comments someone had made when the male subject had grabbed her by the hair and pulled her head down. He then grabbed her by the mouth and cheek. The male subject was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence and transported to the South County Jail.

On October 14th Deputy Kerr was dispatched to the 20000 Block of Sienna Ridge for a Burglary of a Vehicle report. Upon arrival the Deputy met with the Complainant who advised someone had entered his Ford F-250 which had been left unlocked in his driveway. Stolen from his vehicle was a Dell Lap Top, a Tom/Tom GPS and a Black leather Satchel Case for the Lap Top.

On October 14th Deputy Gonzalez was dispatched to the Ranch Crest Subdivision in reference to a Burglary of a Vehicle report. Upon arrival the Deputy made contact with the Complainant who advised that both of her vehicles had been in her driveway and had been left unlocked. Both vehicles had articles stolen which included a hunting knife, Motorola Bluetooth and a small amount of cash. There are no witnesses or suspects at this time.

On October 14th Sergeant Russell was in the Indigo Lakes subdivision. Sergeant Russell located a vehicle parked in the roadway with a 19 year old female subject asleep inside. The female subject advised she was waiting to pick up her boyfriend. A pipe was located inside the vehicle and a small amount of marijuana in it. Upon further search Marijuana “Shake” was located in the console. The female subject was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and transported to the Female Booking at the Montgomery County Jail.

On October 12th Deputy Suarez was dispatched to the area off of Decker Hills and Dallas Street in reference to a Shots Fired call. The Deputy was flagged down by several neighbors who advised a male subject was firing an assault rifle from his porch in the neighborhood. Upon arrival to the subject’s residence the rifle was located and was found to have been altered with the barrel shortened and the butt stock cut off. The subject was charged with felony possession of a Prohibited Weapon and a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Deputy Suarez transported the subject to the Montgomery County Jail.

On October 12th Sergeant Bybee was dispatched to Sapphire Circle in the Indigo Lakes Subdivision in reference to a Burglary of a Vehicle. Upon arrival the Sergeant made contact with the Complainant who advised that both of his vehicles had been in his driveway of his residence unlocked and unsecured on Monday night the 11th and the next morning he had found someone had broken into both vehicles and taken about $250 worth of miscellaneous items. There are no witnesses or suspects at this time.

On October 12th Deputy Krolczyk was dispatched to Timber Ridge in the Indigo Lakes subdivision in reference to a Burglary of a Vehicle. Upon arrival the Deputy made contact with the Complainant who advised that her vehicle and her father’s vehicle had been left unlocked and unsecured on Monday night the 11th and the next morning she noticed her vehicle and her dad’s vehicle had been rummaged through. $200 cash had been taken from her dad’s vehicle. A suspect has not been identified.

On October 9th Sergeant Armstrong was dispatched to Decker Prairie Rosehill at South Wiggins Road in reference to a Traffic Hazard. Upon arrival the Sergeant observed a green vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway with the engine off and a male subject asleep in the driver’s seat. Sergeant Armstrong was able to wake the driver and immediately detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. The subject was unsteady on his feet, had bloodshot eyes and his speech was slurred. The subject was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)

On 10/12/10 Deputy Rex responded to the 21200 block of Joe Adams Rd in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed that a husband and wife had been involved in a verbal altercation which turned physical when the husband assaulted his wife. There were no serious injuries sustained. The male subject was arrested for Assault (Family Violence) Misdemeanor A and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 10/12/10 Deputy Favorat responded to the 300 block of Arrowhead on an Investigation regarding Violation of a Protective Order. Investigation revealed a male subject on location at a residence with a female present that was named as a protected individual in an active Protective Order. The male subject was arrested for Violation of a Protective Order, Misdemeanor A and an outstanding warrant for Assault (Family Violence) (Enhanced Charge), Felony 3. The subject was placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 10/15/10 Sergeant Spiller responded to the 900 block of Mohawk in regards to a Disturbance. Investigation revealed that a male and female (husband & wife) had been involved in a verbal altercation another male individual on location. During the investigation it was learned that the male and female both had outstanding warrants, unrelated to this incident. Both subjects were arrested for their respective warrants and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 10/15/10 Deputies Davis and Durbin conducted a Traffic Stop on a vehicle traveling along the 17100 block of SH 105 W for failure to display tail lamps when required. Upon speaking with the male driver and conducting a routine license inquiry, it was determined that the individual had six outstanding warrants. The subject was arrested for the outstanding warrants and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 10/17/10 Deputy Santoro responded to the 5900 block of Cessna Dr in regards to a Disturbance. Investigation revealed several neighbors standing in or near the street that had been involved in a verbal altercation. A female subject on location had become intoxicated and was determined to be the cause of the altercation. Deputies isolated this individual from the rest of the participants which resolved the incident. The female subject was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On October 16, 2010, Deputy Evans was dispatched to a Theft in Progress from the Kroger’s at 6700 Woodlands Parkway. The suspects, a 44 year old Male and 34 year old Female from Tomball, had concealed $98.27 worth of merchandise in the female’s purse and exited the store. When approached by store employees the suspects took off running, dropping the merchandise in the process. Witnesses followed the suspects until officers arrived on the scene. The suspects continued to evade officers, but were both eventually detained and returned to the store for positive identification. Deputy Evans contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges for Theft and Evading Arrest or Detention were accepted for both suspects. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The following DWI Arrests were reported:

10/9 – Deputy Borchardt arrested a 31 year old Male from the Woodlands after responding to an Officer Assist Call on Woodlands Parkway at I-45. A Houston Police Officer observed the suspect driving at a high rate of speed (96 mph) on his motorcycle and weaving from lane to lane. He activated his emergency equipment in an attempt to stop the suspect, and eventually had to pull in front of the suspect to get him to stop. Deputy Borchardt made contact with the suspect, whom he noticed had glassy eyes, slurred speech, and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Deputy Borchardt contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted for Driving While Intoxicated. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

10/14 – Sgt. Hammons arrested 33 year old Male from Spring after a Traffic Stop of a suspicious vehicle on Grogans Mill Road. The suspect had glassy eyes, slurred speech, and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Sgt. Hammons conducted several Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and concluded based on his observations, that the suspect had lost the normal use of his physical faculties due to his level of intoxication. Charges were accepted for State Jail Felony Driving While Intoxicated w/Child under 15 years of age, due to the suspect’s child being in the vehicle. The child was released to family member. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The following Shoplifting Arrests were reported:

10/08 – Deputy Almendarez arrested a 33 year old Female from Conroe at 1201 Lake Woodlands for Theft. The suspect attempted to take approximately $168 worth of merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

10/08 – Deputy Martin arrested a 33 year old Female from Onalaska at 10001 Woodlands Parkway for Theft. The suspect attempted to take approximately $75 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

10/9 – Deputy Houstoun arrested a 17 year old Female and a 16 year old Female, both from The Woodlands at 3040 College Park Drive for Theft. The suspects attempted to take approximately $74.79 worth of Merchandise from Wal-Mart. Both suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail and Juvenile Detention Facility without incident.

10/13 – Deputy Conklin arrested an 18 year old Male from The Woodlands at 1201 Lake Woodlands for Theft. The suspect attempted to take approximately $154.50 worth of merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

10/15 – Deputy Rizk arrested an 18 year old Female from The Woodlands at 1100 Lake Woodlands for Theft. The suspect attempted to take approximately $252.29 worth of merchandise from Target. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
