District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)
On September 6, Deputy A. Booher was sent to the 10700 block of Newton Circle in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he had been assaulted by his common law wife who had just left the scene. The male had a laceration to his head and was bleeding. The female was located and detained. The 46 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 9:38pm and transported to jail.
A 34 year old female was arrested at 11:41pm, September 6, in the 10800 block of Donna Road by Deputy D. Pena for a motion to revoke probation warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received information on the female’s location. She was taken to jail.
On September 7, Sergeant J. Varnell observed a vehicle speeding on FM 1097 near Lake Conroe Hills. The Deputy was able to stop the vehicle and observed the male driver to be intoxicated. The 47 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:02am, charged with DWI and taken to jail.
A 26 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 4:23am, September 7, in the area of Hwy 105 East and Kinsman Road by Deputy S. Squier for a family violence assault warrant out of Montgomery County Pct 4. The male was stopped on a traffic violation. He was taken to jail.
On September 7, Deputy S. Degner was dispatched to the 13600 block of Kidd Road in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy had been advised a male on location had kicked in the door and then threatened to kill everyone in the house. He had left the scene but said he would return. As he fled the scene the Deputy stopped him and detained him. During the investigation the male was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was also intoxicated. The Deputy learned the male had indeed made the threats to other persons at the house. The 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:42pm, charged with terroristic threat, DWI and possession of marijuana and transported to jail.
On September 8, Deputy K. Albritton responded to the 10400 block of Royal Andrew in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated her nephew had come home intoxicated and they got into a verbal argument. The male spit on her face and grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her. The 46 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:55pm and transported to jail.
A 24 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:56am, September 9, in the area of Parker Road and Pine Road by Deputy K. Underwood for a capias pro fine warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation and the male was a passenger in the vehicle. The male was taken to jail.
On September 9, Deputy C. Holcomb was sent to the 11200 block of Hillgreen Drive in reference to recovery of stolen property. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised a female friend of hers had taken some medication (hydrocodone). The complainant had filed a previous report. The female friend came back to the residence and the complainant confronted her and the friend retrieved the missing medication and pill bottle and gave it back. The 61 year old female from Deridder, LA, was arrested at 1:00pm, charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to jail.
On September 12, Deputy K. Berger stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 11700 block of Hwy 105 East. The male driver did not have a driver license and presented the Deputy with a Tennessee identification card which the driver advised he had gotten from the Tennessee government. During the investigation it was found out the identification card was fake and not a government document. The 31 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:10am, charged with fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and taken to jail.
On September 12, Deputy A. Booher was notified of a welfare concern in the 17900 block of Rogers Road concerning an intoxicated male. The Deputy located the intoxicated male who was sitting in the passenger seat in a vehicle on the side of the road. The 42 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:04pm and transported to jail.
On September 12, Deputy K. Berger was sent to an accident scene in the 17600 block of Drowsy Pine. The Deputy located the vehicle involved in a ditch. The Deputy spoke with the male driver who had no idea where he was and thought he was in Houston. During the investigation it was determined the male was intoxicated. The 23 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:39pm for DWI and transported to jail.
District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)
On September 7, 2010 at approximately 9am, Deputy Christensen was dispatched to 25120 I-45 North in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. Upon arrival, Deputy Christensen detained the suspect, and then met with the complainant. The complainant stated that the suspect, 33 yr old White Male from Houston, had grabbed her forcibly by the arm, took her keys and then got in her car and started the ignition. After she realized he was trying to steal her car she started screaming for help. The three witnesses, ran over, removed the suspect from her vehicle, and detained him until Deputy Christensen’s arrival. Deputy Christensen contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted for Aggravated Robbery. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On September 8, 2010 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Deputy Sibille was dispatched to an Assault Family Violence in progress call in the 2400 block of Northline Road. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant who stated that she and her husband had been drinking that day, became intoxicated and began fighting over what her husband was looking at on the computer. During the argument, her husband began hitting her about her. He fled the scene when she called the Sheriff’s Office. With the assistance of a Pct. 3 Deputy Constables, the suspect, 50 yr old White Male, was located and was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.
On September 8, 2010, at approximately 3:50 a.m., Deputy Swank observed a vehicle in the area of 150 Valleywood Drive. Deputy Swank ran the license plate and received confirmation that the vehicle was stolen. Deputy Swank followed the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, White Male 32 yrs old from Spring, was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. The passengers in the vehicle were released on the scene.
On September 9, 2010 at approximately 2 pm, Deputies were dispatched to 25650 IH 45 for an Aggravated Assault and Unlawful Restraint. Upon arrival, they learned from the complainant that early that day, he went to the suspect’s apartment and was struck with a bat and bound with duct tape by several males. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to kill him. The victim freed himself and fled the apartment and called the authorities. All parties were arrested for Unlawful Restraint. All suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Suspect 1, 18 yr old White Male from Spring Suspect 2 -18 yr old Black Male from Spring, Suspect 3 – 22 yr old Black Male from Spring and Suspect 4 – 18 yr old Black Male from Spring.
District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 9/10/10 Deputy Smith was dispatched to the 24000 block of F.M. 1485 in reference to a disturbance in progress call. Upon his arrival he observed two individuals exiting the residence and made contact. The victim stated the suspect had struck him on the neck and made threats against him. The suspect, a 21 year old female was arrested and charged with Assault by contact (FV) and Assault by threat.
On 9/11/10 Deputy Martinez was dispatched to the 19000 block of Espinosa Ln. in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival contact was made with an intoxicated male. Dispatch had received 4 calls in reference to this male shooting a shotgun in front of his residence. The suspect, a 40 year old male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and was given a citation for discharging a firearm.
On 9/11/10 Deputy Holden was dispatched to the 11000 block of Mary Loop in reference to a Family Violence in progress call. Upon his arrival he observed a white male run into the house. The male then emerged from the house and tried to run out the back door and into the woods. The male was then detained. The victim stated the suspect had struck her in the face with a closed fist and caused injury. The suspect, a 58 year old male was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.
On 9/11/10 Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to a suspicious person call in the 24000 block of F.M. 1314. Upon his arrival contact was made with the subject and she was found to have an active warrant for Motion to Revoke Probation. The suspect, Sophia Schaffer, was arrested for the outstanding warrant.
On 9/11/10 Deputy Amstutz was flagged down by a witness in the 23000 block of F.M. 1314 in reference to a reckless driver. The witness observed a vehicle driving in a reckless manner and intentionally backing up into the path of oncoming vehicles. The driver also began to swerve head on into on-coming traffic and the vehicle also drove off the roadway. The vehicle proceeded to strike a red truck in the rear of the vehicle. The driver, a 19 year old male was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving.
On 9/12/10 Deputy Dunn was dispatched to the 15000 block of Rusty Oak Trail in reference to a disturbance in progress call. Upon his arrival he found one of the suspects in the street in front of this address. The suspect, a 26 year old male, showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for Public Intoxication.
On 9/12/10 Deputy Bauer was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to a Theft call. Upon his arrival he made contact with Loss Prevention and learned that a male and female had concealed merchandise and left the store without paying for the items. The female was issued a citation for the Theft and the 28 year old male was arrested for Theft.
On 9/12/10 Deputy Ortiz was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to a Trespasser call. Upon his arrival he made contact with the suspect as she was exiting the store and escorted her back to the Loss Prevention office. Once in the Loss Prevention office it was learned the female had an active trespass warning, which had been issued in April 2010. The suspect, a 41 year old female, was arrested for Criminal Trespass.
On 9/12/10 Deputy Dunn was patrolling the area of Loop 494 and Farris Green when he noticed a suspicious male riding a bicycle. He attempted to make contact with the male, but the male fled on the bicycle, but was later stopped in the parking lot of Home Depot. After identifying the male as Howard Ferguson, it was learned he had ten outstanding traffic warrants. When Howard was placed into custody he was found to have in his possession a fictitious twenty dollar bill, so he was also charged with Forgery.
On 9/13/10 Deputy Pickerill was dispatched to the 21000 block of Thomas Lane in reference to a Family Violence call. Upon his arrival he made contact with the victim who advised the suspect had pushed her during an argument. It was learned the suspect, a 34 year old male, had four outstanding traffic warrants. The suspect was arrested for Assault Family Violence and for the four outstanding traffic warrants.
On 9/13/10 Deputy Lebeau was dispatched to the 21400 block of Loop 494 in reference to a Theft in progress and Trespasser call. Upon his arrival he made contact with an employee of the business and was advised two males were on the property attempting to remove tin from a building, and had trespassed onto the property. A 43 year old male, and a 38 year old male, were both arrested for Criminal Trespass.

On September 12th Deputy Krolczyk and Deputy Provenzano were dispatched to the 21000 Block of Stillwater in reference to a Trespasser Past. Prior to the Deputies arrival they encountered three male subjects that were possible suspects from the Trespasser call walking along FM 149. While trying to make contact with the three subjects, two ran into the woods and one subject was detained. A search of the woods revealed the other two subjects. The three subjects had stolen a truck then abandoned it, but then stole items from the truck that they still had with them. All three were charged with Felony Theft. Two of the subjects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail and the third subject was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
On September 12th Deputy Tavarez was dispatched to the 30000 Block of Red Bluff in reference to an Assault with a Weapon. Upon arrival Deputy Tavarez met with the Complainant who advised he had been stabbed by his wife. The victim sustained a minor injury. The suspect was arrested and charged with Felon Aggravated Assault with A Deadly Weapon.
On September 12th Deputy LaSalle was dispatched to the 32000 Block of SH 249 in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival Deputy LaSalle met with a witness who advised he had observed green pickup truck swerving and moving into oncoming traffic. He had followed the truck to a Chevron Gas Station and saw a Hispanic male with a small child exit the vehicle and entered the store. Deputy LaSalle made contact with the male subject who had an odor of coming from his person. He was unsteady in his movement and his pupils were the size of pin heads. The subject was placed into custody for Driving While Intoxicated with a Minor and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The child was turned over to his mother.
On September 11th Deputy Suarez was dispatched to the 25700 Block of Tisdel Road in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. Upon arrival Deputy Suarez met with a 26 year old female subject and a 61 year old male subject. It was determined that there was mutual combat between both subjects. Citations were issued to both parties for disorderly conduct.
On September 11th Deputy Hollan and Deputy Tavarez were dispatched to the Decker Hills subdivision in reference to a Family Violence call. Upon arrival the Deputies met with two Complainants a 26 year old male subject and his wife a 30 year old female subject and a witness. The witness advised she watched as an argument between the two became physically violent. Both parties had thrown objects at each other and eventually struck each other. Both subjects were issued citations for Assault by Contact Family Violence.
On September 10th Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to the Heritage Point subdivision in reference to a Suspicious Vehicle. Upon arrival Deputy Zavorski located a 2000 Black Chevrolet parked in a cul-de-sac of Rosepine Court. The vehicle was occupied by three male subjects. They had their doors open and were talking to an off duty DPS Trooper upon the deputy’s arrival. The vehicle had a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from it. Deputy Zavorski viewed a clear plastic bag containing a green leaf like substance in plain view in the back seat. The 17 year old male subject in the back seat advised that the marijuana they were smoking was his. The 17 year old was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana the other two occupants were juveniles and were released to their parents.
On September 9th Deputy Suarez was dispatched to Sweetwater at Decker Hills in reference to a Suspicious Person. Upon arrival Deputy Suarez made contact with a 31 year old female subject and was advised by Magnolia PD she had open warrants through the City of Magnolia. The Subject was detained and the warrants confirmed. MCSO Dispatch also advised the subject had an open warrant through Montgomery County. The subject was placed into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail for booking.
On September 7th Sergeant Russell was dispatched to the 30000 Block of Primrose in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. Upon arrival the Sergeant met with a witness who had fled the location on a bicycle to summons help. The female Complainant on scene advised that a 49 year old male subject and she had a verbal altercation and then the male subject had punched her in the nose. The male subject then retrieved a baseball bat and threatened her and the witness. The male subject was charged with two counts of Terroristic Threat and one count of Assault Family Violence. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On September 7th a 28 year old female subject was seen by Sergeant Sumrall riding a bicycle on FM 149. The subject was known to have an active felony warrant through Montgomery County. The subject was detained and the warrant confirmed. She was then taken into custody and transported to female booking at the Montgomery County Jail.
On September 3rd Deputy Birch was dispatched to the 36000 Block of Fm 149 in reference to a Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival, Deputy Birch made contact the driver, a 22 year old male subject. After running the male subject through dispatch it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for Criminal Mischief through Montgomery County. Once the subject had refused EMS he was placed into custody and transported to the South County Jail.
District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
On 09/08/10 Deputy Farmer conducted a Traffic Stop in the 13100 block of SH 105 W on a vehicle for failure to maintain a single marked lane. The male driver appeared to be intoxicated and was administered several field sobriety tests. The male was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Misdemeanor B and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
On 09/08/10 Deputy McCarthy responded to Hampton Glen Rd in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed that an adult female had assaulted several other family members on location during a physical altercation. The female subject was arrested for Assault (Family Violence), Misdemeanor A and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
On 09/10/10 Deputy Rex conducted a Traffic Stop in the 10800 block of Scenic Dr on a vehicle for failure to maintain a single marked lane and fail to signal lane change. The male driver displayed indications of being intoxicated therefore was administered several standard field sobriety tests. The male was then arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd Offense, Felony 3 and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $50,000 bond.
On 09/11/10 Deputy Thompson responded to Lawrence Dr in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed where an adult male had been involved in a physical altercation with his father when the male produced a knife and cut his father across the forearm while the father attempted to defend himself. Injuries sustained were not life threatening and did not require emergency medical attention. The male subject was arrested for Aggravated Assault (Family Violence), Felony 2 and placed into the Montgomery County Jail without bond.
On 09/13/10 Deputy Farmer responded to an establishment in the 18400 block of SH 105 W in regards to Theft. It was reported that a male employee had been observed tampering with a female co-workers personal belongings without her knowledge. Investigation revealed that the male employee had stolen numerous articles of value from the co-workers purse. The stolen articles, valued at over $650 were recovered and returned to the owner. The male employee was arrested for Credit Card Abuse, State Jail Felony and Theft, Misdemeanor A and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)
On September 3, 2010 at approximately 5 pm, Deputy Lawless responded to a location on Roaming Woods Drive. The complainant, stated that the suspect, White Male 45 yrs old from Spring, came into her backyard, exposed himself and began to urinate. When she yelled at him to stop and leave, he responded that he would leave, and return with and shoot her, her family and her dog. The suspect was located on Spring Creek Drive. When Deputy Lawless approached him, the suspect had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on or about his person, coupled with slurred speech. Deputy Lawless contacted the District Attorney’s office and charges were accepted for Indecent Exposure and Terroristic Threat. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On September 4, 2010 at approximately 3:15 p.m., Deputy Layman was dispatched to the area of Grogans Mill and Millpark in reference to a possible Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival, Deputy Layman learned that the suspect vehicle had been traveling, at a high rate of speed, northbound on Grogan’s Mill, weaving between vehicles. Witnesses stated that the suspect then lost control of his vehicle, fishtailing before leaving the roadway, traveling across the grass median, spinning completely around and coming to rest in the southbound lanes of Grogan’s Mill. Deputy Layman contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted for Reckless Driving. The suspect, 18 yr old Black Male from Spring, was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On September 6, 2010 at approximately 12:50 am, Deputy Flores was dispatched to provide Traffic Control for an accident at Woodlands Parkway and Kuykendahl. Upon arrival, witnesses stated that the driver was seen leaving the vehicle and running towards the shopping center. Deputy Flores and Deputy Drake located a female matching the description of the driver. Upon speaking with the suspect, her story changed several times as to who was driving, how many people were in the vehicle and who owned the vehicle. At that time, Deputy Flores detained the suspect, 22 yr old White Female from The Woodlands, for the DPS Trooper to question her. The suspect continued to give conflicting statements to the Trooper. Deputy Flores contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted for False Report to a Peace Officer. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made:
9/5 – Deputy Houstoun responded to 1600 Lake Woodlands in reference to a 24 year old White Female, being detained for shoplifting. The suspect attempted to steal approximately $60.00 in merchandise from Ulta. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
The following Driving While Intoxicated arrests were made:
9/4 – Sr. Sgt. Herring arrested 41 yr old White Male from the Woodlands for DWI in the 2600 block of Woodlands Parkway. Contact was made with this driver after Deputy Underwood conducted a traffic stop for defective equipment. Breath samples were not provided.
9/4 – Sr. Sgt. Herring arrested 22 yr old White Male from Montgomery for DWI after a traffic stop on IH-45 just north of SH 242. The driver was observed, by Sr. Sgt. Herring, cutting through the median from the highway to the feeder road to avoid emergency vehicle at the scene of an accident. The driver was low to pull over and could not maintain a single lane of travel. Breath Samples were .224 and .224.
9/4 – Sr. Sgt. Herring arrested 42 yr old White Female from the Woodlands for DWI in the 3800 block of Woodlands Parkway. Contact was made with this driver after Deputy Drake conducted a traffic stop after he observed the vehicle going eastbound in the westbound lanes of Woodlands Parkway. Breath samples were not provided.
9/5 – Sr. Sgt. Herring arrested 26 yr old White Female from Conroe for DWI in the 27500 block of IH-45. The driver was observed, by Sr. Sgt. Herring, as she entered the main lanes of IH-45 and then increased her speed to over 90 mph. While following her, Sr. Sgt. Herring observed her weaving between lanes prior to her stopping. Breath Samples were .150 and .149.
9/5 – Sr. Sgt. Herring arrested 30 yr old White male from Pearland for DWI in the 26000 Block of IH-45. Contact was made with this driver after Deputy Pternitis and Sr. Sgt. Silvio observed the subject strike a curb and blow out a tire on the ring road of The Woodlands Mall. The driver then left the scene, running a stop sign, and then drove onto IH-45 southbound main lanes. Deputy Pternitis then conducted a traffic stop. Breath samples were not provided.
9/6 – Sr. Sgt. Herring arrested 28 yr old White Male from The Woodlands for DWI in the 3400 block of Willie Way. Contact was made with this driver after Deputy Underwood and Deputy Schmaltz conducted a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle also matched the description of vehicle involved in a disturbance in that area. Breath samples were not provided.
