WELFARE CHECK TURNS INTO PAROLE ARREST

On January 7, 2019, Officers with the City of Splendora Police Department, along with an Officer from The Patton Village Police Department, conducted a welfare check at a local residence in reference to a complaint filed through Child Protective Services. Prior to the officer’s arrival, each subject listed on the complaint was run to learn an exact address due to multiple homes on the property, it was learned the male had an open Blue Warrant out Pardon’s and Parole. Upon the officer’s arrival, the officer’s met with a white male on location, Officers requested for a copy of a Driver’s License photo of the wanted individual. Upon their receipt of the photo, it was learned the male, who identified as someone other than who he truly is. Eric Owens was arrested for his outstanding warrant along with the additional charge of Failed to ID, Fugitive from Justice.
