Just before 8 pm on Monday DPS arrested Beatrice Sanchez, 72, at Loop 494 and Northpark for her sixth DWI. On January 30, 1986, Sanchez was arrested in Harris County for DWI which was dismissed. Then on September 2, 2000, she was again arrested and sentenced to 8-days in the Harris County Jail. On April 13, 200, she was again arrested driving with a suspended license. The license was suspended due to a February 19, 2003 crash in which there was serious bodily injury. On April 13, 2005, she was again arrested for her second DWI- (since the first had been dismissed). For that, she was sentenced to 120 days in the Harris County Jail. Then on February 7, 2021, Harris Coutny Deputy stopped Sanchez after she was witnessed driving in reverse down the road in her Nissan. The deputy observed heavy front-end damage to her vehicle. The deputy then learned that Sanchez was involved in a crash on Winfield Road at I-69. The deputy called for a DWI unit to the scene. When the unit arrived Sanchez was too intoxicated to do field sobriety tests. A blood draw was done which resulted in a .214 blood-alcohol, close to three times the legal limit. She bonded out but after the blood alcohol results came back a warrant was issued for her arrest. She is now in the Montgomery County Jail charged with DWI third or more with a $10,000 bond. Also, she has no bond and is being held on the Harris County Warrant.
