On Friday, two shoppers reported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office that they were robbed as they were leaving the Woodlands Mall.
The victims ages 28 and 13, told deputies it was around 7:45 p.m. when a group of four black males and three black females approached them, and at least three of them physically attacked the older victim stealing their recent purchases.
During a search inside the mall, two suspects were found and identified by the victims as participants in the assault and robbery. The other suspects have not been identified or arrested.
Those arrested were 17-year-old Dustin Blake Thomas of Spring and 17-year-old Isidoro Guimaraes. Both were charged with robbery and both remain jailed as of Monday afternoon with bond set at $30,000.
