Friday evening the Montgomery County Special Investigations Unit arrested Lonzell Williams age 60 of 13120 Point Aquarius in Willis for possessing almost 100 pounds of marijuana. In addition Brenda Williams, age 58 was also arrested.
Both were stopped on a traffic violation in their Cadillac Escalade. The marijuana was found in two plastic packages marked “Missionary Relief Goods”. The Escalade was also confiscated and will be held pending civil seizure.Additional charges are expected.
When deputies went to the Williams home they recovered a small amount of cocaine , $8000 in cash and numerous fake identification items. In addition they discovered drug packaging paraphernalia.
