On Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol units were dispatched to The Park at Fallbrook apartment complex located at 10155 Bammel N. Houston in reference to a shooting. Upon their arrival on scene, they located a juvenile Hispanic male who was unresponsive from gunshot wounds. The teen was later pronounced deceased at the scene. Arriving patrol units spoke with witnesses who identified the suspect and directed them to an apartment in the complex. The deputies made contact with the suspect, and he exited the apartment and was taken into custody. A firearm was later located inside this apartment. Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide detectives were able to identify the juvenile victim as 15-year-old Jacob Gomez, who was not a resident of the complex. Detectives believe the two juveniles were involved in some type of transaction, which was possibly drug related. Capital Murder charges were filed against the 15-year-old suspect and he was placed in the Harris County Juvenile Detention facility. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit at 713-274-9100 or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS(8477).
