Robert Lawrence Wilson, 47, of Lancaster, California was returned to Texas today. DNA evidence linked him to the 1990 murder of 18-year-old Tammy Lynn Bounds whose body was found on June 21, 1990.
Bounds body was discovered near 105 East at Penny Road in Eastern Montgomery County about the same time her than 14-month-old son was found wandering alone almost 5 miles from the location his mother was found.
Wilson was a person of interest in 1990 when it was learned he once lived in the same apartment complex as Bounds in North Harris County on Aldine Mail Route.
Wilson who was arrested earlier this month in Lancaster, California had to go through the extradition process to be returned to Texas. He is now in the Montgomery County Jail with no bond charged with Murder Intentionally Causing Death.
