On September 17, 2017, Officer Rutherfod observed a vehicle traveling down first street turn into Trinity Pines Trailer park failed to use a turn signal. A traffic stop was conducted. Upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, Officer Rutherford observed nervous behavior from the passenger of the vehicle. The driver consented a search of the vehicle. During that time Offer Rutherford located a large plastic bag that had been lodged under the passenger seat. The passenger (pictured) who is identified as Cody Barnhart of Splendora was detained. A total of 25 grams of Methamphetamine was located. Cody was arrest and charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance with the intent to Manufacture and Deliver. Cody was taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
