5-YEAR-OLD SAVES MOTHERS LIFE

On Tuesday little 5-year-old  Brendon Bass did as he normaly did, getting off the bus and going home from Southside Elementary School in Cleveland. Tuesday, however proved to be a little different. As he walked in the house he found his mother passed out and non-responsive. Most children his age would panic. Not  Brandon, he went directly to the phone and called 911. He was giving directions to the 911 operator when his grandmother arrived and saw what was happewning. Moments later Cleveland Fire Department and First Responders arrived. She was transported to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.  Not long ago Brandon and his classmates were taught how to call 911 and what to do in an emergency. Cleveland ISD Police Chief Rex Evans said that training paid off on Tuesday.
