$50,000 BOND SET AFTER DRIVER LEADS POLICE ON A 30 MILE PURSUIT

Friday night Wood Branch Police attempted to stop a vehicle with Arkansas plates southbound on I-69 near SH 242 in New Caney. The driver, identified as Issac Leu, 22, of  22933 North Sardis in Little Rock, Arkansas refused to stop. A pursuit was initiated which involved speeds just over 100mph. Wood Branch was assisted by DPS, Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables, Humble Police, and MCSO. The pursuit continued south on I-69 to North Loop 610 in Houston where Leu traveled westbound. As he exited 610 and attempted to get onto I-45 Southbound he was pitted by a DPS Trooper and quickly taken into custody. He was returned to the Montgomery County Jail where a $50000 bond has been set for his charges of felony evading arrest with a motor vehicle.
