Saturday morning Caney Creek Cowboy Church in Conroe held its 16th annual Easter Egg Hunt for the community. Over 1,000 adults and children covered the 22-acre complex to gather 50,000 plastic Easter eggs. They also used a back pasture for the adults with $200 in the lucky egg. Children of all sizes participated. Baskets were overflowing. Some even carried kitchen trash bags loaded. In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, a car show took place on the property. Pastor Mark Grimes said it was an effort to stuff the eggs and place the eggs for the hunt.
