MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- On Tuesday, Pct. 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division, in conjunction with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, Huntsville Police Department, Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and Walker County District Attorney’s Office, executed a residential search warrant in Huntsville, and arrested one suspect.
The search warrant stemmed from the Montgomery County Pct. 3 ICAC Detective’s proactive investigation of promotion and distribution of child pornography into The Woodlands. Investigators say they found Gary Sutton was associated with promoting and possessing thousands of images depicting the sexual assault of children. Law enforcement arrested Sutton and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
Gary Wayne Sutton, 53, is charged with five counts of second-degree felony Promotion/Distribution of Child Pornography. Bond is set at $100,000 per charge for a total of $500,000.
The Texas Department of Public Safety maintains a statewide Sex Offender Registry, searchable by offender name. It can also be searched by address or zip code to see if or where registered sex offenders live in any area throughout Texas, and the registry can be searched by names of institutes of higher learning.
