MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF BLOTTER

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On April 5, Deputy A. Booher was notified of an assault call in the 12100 block of Old Montgomery Road. The Deputy met with a male who advised he arrived at a residence and after parking his vehicle he was confronted by a male and a verbal argument took place which became physical. Another male came from the house and joined in the fight biting the complainant on the forearm. The first male had stopped fighting and backed away. The complainant got in his vehicle and as he was leaving the second male pulled his belt off and struck the windshield of the complainant’s vehicle shattering it. The second male, a 20 year old, from Willis was arrested at 4:59pm and transported to jail.

On April 5, Deputy D. Pena was sent to the 15300 block of Firewood Drive for a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who said she and her husband got into a verbal argument and he grabbed her by the throat and choked her. The 28 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 10:45pm and transported to jail.

On April 5, Deputy R. Salazar responded to the 10000 block of Calendar for a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who related that she and her boyfriend got into a verbal argument and the male grabbed her by the throat. She was not choked but was thrown over the sofa. The 25 year old male from Willis was arrested at 11:07pm and transported to jail.

On April 7, Deputy J. Hodges was dispatched to the 13500 block of Rogers Road in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with two male complainants, one was the female suspect’s husband and the other was her brother. The husband and wife got into a verbal argument and he told her to leave. She went to her brother’s house which was on the same property. The brother attempted to stop his sister from leaving the property and she hit him in
the eye with a closed fist. The husband also was struck by his wife several times on the head. The female also kicked her brother. The 19 year old female from Willis was arrested at 10:55pm and transported to jail.

On April 8, Deputies S. Degner and J. Hodges were sent to the 12700 block of Maggie Lane for a disturbance call. An argument had taken place and the male suspect told his wife that he was going to kill her. He had pushed her around and he had assaulted her in the past. The 61 year old male from Willis was arrested at 7:30pm and transported to jail.

On April 8, Deputy C. Holcomb responded to the 10700 block of White Rock for an alarm call at a residence. On arrival the Deputy observed an open iron gate and fresh tire tracks leading to the rear of the residence. The Deputy continued and saw the back door open on the residence and a witness motioning the Deputy to look behind a detached metal building. The Deputy observed a male suspect get into a truck. The Deputy identified himself and the truck sped away into an open field evading the Deputy. The driver stopped the truck near a wooded area and ran. The witness said there was another male suspect who had gotten out of the passenger side of the truck and ran into the woods. The male passenger was located running on Los Lobos Drive. Responding units detained the male. An investigation at the residence revealed forced entry into the residence and the alarm key pad had been ripped out of the wall and tossed outside. The 22 year old male from Houston was arrested at 2:00pm, charged with evading and taken to jail.

On April 9, Deputy K. Berger was patrolling in the 2900 block of I-45 when a vehicle was observed that matched the description of one used during a break in. The Deputy stopped the vehicle which had Minnesota tags on it. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Minnesota. The 36 year old male driver from Minneapolis was arrested at 12:47am and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The 38 year old male passenger from Houston was also arrested for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and forgery of a government document, a California identification card and social security card. Both males were taken to jail.

On April 9, Deputy K. Underwood was notified of a burglary of a business in progress in the 11100 block of Hwy 75. As the Deputy arrived the suspect(s) fled the scene. Several officers began searching the area. An officer from Willis located the suspects and ordered them to stop. They ran and later Deputy nderwood caught up to them and ordered them to stop of which they also ignored and kept running. The males were finally apprehended as they neared their vehicle.
Both males denied any knowledge of the burglary and that they were there to steal copper. Both males, a 19 year old from New Waverly and a 21 year old from Willis, were arrested at 2:12am, charged with attempted theft of copper and evading arrest/detention and taken to jail.

A 56 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:23pm, April 10, in the 11000 block of Quinlan North Lake Drive by Deputy J. Kader for an assault causes bodily injury warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received information on the location of the male. The male was transported to jail.

A 41 year old male from Pinehurst was arrested at 2:22am, April 11, in the area of Hwy 105 and Crockett Martin Road by Deputy K. Underwood for a motion to revoke warrant out of Montgomery County. A second male, 52 years old, from Conroe, was also arrested for a theft warrant out of Montgomery County. A third male, 23 years old, from Cleveland, was arrested on scene for public intoxication. The Deputy had noticed the males hanging around a truck that
was parked at a closed business. All three males were transported to jail.

On April 11, Deputy S. Degner was sent to the 10300 block of Royal Magnolia for a criminal mischief call. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised his ex-girlfriend had jumped over the fence at his residence and broke an exterior window on the residence. The 37 year old female from Kingwood was arrested at 8:46pm and transported to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

4/2 – White Female 24 yrs old from Houston and White Male 19 yrs old from Montgomery –were arrested after a traffic stop in the 630 block of Sawdust Road. The two suspects were found to be in Possession of Controlled Substance, namely Xanax, and the driver (WF 24) was also found to be in Possession of Marijuana. She also received a citation for Driving on a Suspended License and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. Both were transported to the
Montgomery County Jail without incident.

4/3 – Black Male 16 yrs old from Conroe – was arrested in the 9000 block of Tamina after Deputies responded to a Disturbance in progress. The first deputies on scene observed the suspect running away from the location and later found him hiding behind some debris. The suspect was found to be in possession of two pills wrapped in paper. The pills were identified as Hydrocodone and Amytryptaline. The suspect was charged with Possession of a Dangerous
Drug and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility.

4/4 – White Male 48 yrs old from The Woodlands – was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, after a traffic stop on Sawdust Road at Grogan’s Mill. The driver had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from is breath, was unsteady on his feet and had heavily slurred speech. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

4/7 – White Male 22 yrs old from Spring – was arrested after a traffic stop at 521 Sawdust Road. While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, Dep. Hernandez noticed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The driver stated that the passenger in the rear seat did have drugs. During the course of the investigation, Dep. Hernandez located .57 oz of Marijuana and 19.6 grams (24 pills) of Hydrocodone. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with
Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

4/8 – White Male 20 yrs old from Spring – was arrested after a traffic stop was conducted on a stolen vehicle. Deputies also found several electronic items that appeared to stolen. Upon further investigation, it was found that the items belonged to several residents in the Spring Trails subdivision. Also found during the investigation was a clear baggy containing .98 oz. of marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor
Vehicle, 2 counts of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana. He was then transported to the South Montgomery County Jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 4/10/10 Deputy Curtis was dispatched to the 24000 block of Loop 494 in reference to an Aggravated Assault in Progress call. Upon his arrival he learned that a husband and wife were involved in a verbal altercation while inside their vehicle. The husband got out of the vehicle and the wife then ran over her husband with the vehicle stopping and coming to rest on top of the husband. The wife, a 38 year old female was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault Family Violence, a First degree Felony.

On 4/11/10 Deputy Martinez was dispatched to Leafy Ln. in reference to a Family Violence in Progress call. Upon her arrival she met with one of the parties involved in the disturbance and found that she had an active warrant. The suspect, a 42 year old female, was arrested for the warrant which was for DWI (2nd Offense).

On 4/12/10 Deputy Curtis was dispatched to a home on FM 1485 in reference to an Aggravated Assault. Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had discharged a shotgun at another individual while inside of a home. The suspect then fired a second shot near a travel trailer almost striking the residents inside. The suspect, a 24 year old male was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and he also had an outstanding
warrant for Parole Violation.

On 4/12/10 Deputy Martinez was dispatched to Greenbough Street in reference to a Family Violence in Progress call. Upon arrival he met with the victim and learned that his son had punched and struck his father over a previous altercation in which the Sheriff’s Office had been called. The father was found to have several injuroes which were bleeding. The son and suspect, a 48 year old male, was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.

On 4/14/10 Deputy Jackson was dispatched to Roadway Ln. in reference to a Disturbance in Progress call. Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had shot at his wife with a 12 gauge shotgun. The suspect, a 50 year old male was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a Second Degree Felony.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On April 10th at approximately 1:00 am MCSO Deputies Hahs and Zavorski arrived at the 27000 Block of Dobbin Huffsmith and located a 61 year old male subject wanted for Violation of Parole. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Pursuant to the TDCJ/Parole Division the degree of charge is a felony and with no bond.

On April 10th at approximately 1:30 pm MCSO Deputy Williams was dispatched Walnut Springs Lane in reference to a Welfare Check. Upon arrival Deputy Williams met with the Complainant who advised a 60 year old female subject had swung a shovel at the front windshield of her vehicle breaking it. The subject was then taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The subject was charged with Terroristic Threat (Family Violence) and Criminal
Mischief.

On April 8th at approximately 9:30 pm MCSO Corporal Sumrall initiated a traffic stop on a black GMC Truck. Corporal Sumrall ran the passenger’s identification through MCSO Dispatch and was advised the 18 year old female subject had a warrant out of Montgomery County for Criminal Mischief. The Warrant was confirmed and the Corporal took the female subject into custody and transported her to Female Booking at the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On April 7th at approximately 5:00 am MCSO Corporal Wienke responded to a residence on Helene Court in Pinehurst in regards to a Warrant Service. Corporal Wienke made contact with the 42 year old female who had an active Felony Warrant for her arrest through Montgomery County for Fraud. The female subject was taken into custody without incident and transported to the MCSO Jail.

On April 7th at approximately 10:00 pm MCSO Sergeant Russell was dispatched to a home on FM 2978 in reference to a Disturbance. Upon arrival Sgt Russell observed a vehicle in the driveway that was preparing to leave. The Sergeant asked to 19 year old male subject to exit his vehicle. A baggy of marijuana was found on the suspect. The male subject was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Resisting Search. The male subject currently is out on Felony Bond
for Theft and Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 6th at approximately 2:30 am MCSO Deputies Hahs and Zavorski located a 51 year old female with an outstanding Felony Warrant for Aggregate Theft at her residence in the 31000 block of Primrose Lane. The Warrant was confirmed through MCSO Dispatch. The female subject was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 2nd at approximately 3:15 am MCSO Deputies Hahs and Zavorski were dispatched to the Pinehurst Country Store in reference to an Assault that had occurred in the 31000 block of Golden Rod Lane. Upon arrival the Deputies met with the Complainant who advised she was in the process of moving out of her boyfriends residence and as she was collecting her belongings the male subject began arguing with her, then assaulted her. The Complainant also advised her
boyfriend was intoxicated. The suspect was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

On 04/07/10 Cpl. Spiller, Deputies Garlock and Howze responded to the 100 block of Cordova Ct. and the surrounding area for the multiple reports of Burglary of Habitation, Burglary of Vehicle and Criminal Mischief. During the investigation an adult male suspect was detained and numerous articles of property were recovered. The suspect was arrested and charged with one count of Burglary of a Habitation, Felony- 2, three counts of Burglary of a Vehicle, Misdemeanor-A and one count of Criminal Mischief, Misdemeanor-B. The Suspect was placed into the Montgomery County Jail on undetermined bond amounts. The investigation is ongoing with other charges expected.

On 04/07/10 Deputy Neeley responded to the Columbia River Road in regards to an Assault. The male complainant reported that he and his wife had been nvolved in a physical altercation in which he was assaulted. The female suspect admitted to the assault and was arrested, Class C Misdemeanor (Family Violence) and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 04/08/10 Deputy Durbin conducted a Traffic Stop in the 24000 block of SH 105 W. During the violator contact it was learned that the male driver had an outstanding warrant through this agency. The warrant was confirmed; the subject was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail..

On 04/08/10 Deputy Garner responded to Pine Chase Dr in regards to an Assault. The female Complainant reported that she and her adult son had been involved in an argument when her son threw an object striking her in the face. The son, Suspect, was issued a citation for Assault, Class C Misdemeanor and removed from the scene. The Complainant did not require medical attention.

On 04/10/10 Deputy Favorat and Farmer responded to Keenan Cut-Off Rd in regards to a Disturbance. It was learned that several family members had been involved in a verbal altercation in which one of the male individuals had been reported in displaying a rifle. Further investigation revealed the firearm to be reported stolen and the male suspect to be a convicted felon, prohibited from possessing a firearm. The Suspect was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Felony-3 and Possession of Stolen Firearm.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive:

4/5 – White Female 14 yrs old from The Woodlands – The recovered merchandise (5 items) was valued at $57.50. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility in Conroe.

4/6 – White Female 17 yrs old from The Woodlands – Items taken from two locations were recovered valued at $25. The suspect received 2 citations for the Thefts. The suspect however, failed to correctly identify herself to deputies on scene, and was charged with Failure to Identify. She was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

4/9 – White Female 16 yrs old from The Woodlands – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at $92. Also located were several other items from other stores within the mall. Those items were recovered and returned to the stores. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility in Conroe.

4/10 – White Female 17 yrs old from The Woodlands – The recovered merchandise (2 items) was valued at $76. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 9595 Six Pines Drive:

4/7 – White Female 17 yrs old from The Woodlands – The suspect was charged with 4 counts of Theft, for items taken from four separate stores within the Market Street shopping area. The recovered merchandise (5 items) was valued at $662. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
The following Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Controlled Substance arrest(s) were made:

4/5 – White Male 24 yrs old from Willis – was arrested after Dep. Ortiz stopped to investigate a suspicious vehicle. During the course of the investigation one of the young men standing outside the vehicle was found to be in Possession of Marijuana. He was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

4/9 – White Males 22 yrs old from Spring was arrested after Dep. Runnels stopped to investigate a vehicle that was parked in the turn lane on Gosling and Marisco. During the course of the investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of .05 oz. of marijuana. Also found in the vehicle were two license plates that belonged to the vehicle. The plates that were currently attached to the vehicle (2 different numbers) did not belong to the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect was charged with Possession of Marijuana and received 2 citations for Wrong, Fictitious, altered or obscured License Plate. He was then transported to the South Montgomery County Jail.

The following Public Intoxications arrests were made:

4/11 – White Male 26 yrs old from Calgary AB was arrested on Water Way Avenue.
4/11 – White Male 27 yrs old from Spring was arrested on Water Way Avenue.
