BURNED BODY FOUND IN EMC HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED

Update

On 05-21-2010 Detectives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit located the burned remains of a human corpse in the 18000 block of U.S. 59 South.

Detectives were able to identify a suspect at the time and arrested Robert Ellis Hinton W\M DOB: 01-23-1984 for Abuse of a Corpse. Hinton’s bond was set at $100,000 and he has been incarcerated since his arrest.

On 06-29-2010 Hinton was charged with murder and an additional bond of $250,000 was set.

The victim has been positively identified through D.N.A. as Deborah Carol Applegate W\F DOB: 09-22-1963 of New Caney.
