Monday morning just after 2am, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Dispatchers aired an Attempt To Locate regarding a Red Ford Explorer driving the wrong way on FM 2090, near the Splendora Police Station. The 911 caller described the Red Explorer to be all over the roadway at a high rate of speed. The Red Explorer (being followed by the 911 caller ) pulled into the closed Texaco gas station at FM 2090 and Tram Rd. The 911 caller waited until the police arrived. At which time Officer Castillo arrived on location and made contact with the driver who was identified as Cornelio Jimenez (45). Upon further investigation, Cornelio was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.
